We had a fantastic time at Sailfish Villas. The host Debbie was absolutely amazing and always on hand to help us out.
I owuld advise hiring a car as its on a slightly steep road, but it also gives you an opportunity to explore this amazing island! We had the opportunity to visit a couple of beeches a day and also get up to the national park which is amazing. The are a few restaurants and bars close by but having the car enables us to go a bit further afield and sample some of the food and drink a bit further afield. Debbie arranged all the hire car for us before we arrived and it was waiting for us at the airport when we get there, very hasstle free.

Debbie also helped us out with a wifi dongle which was great for contacting people back at home and good because we could use whilst we was out and about.
our villa itself had an open plan kitchen, lounge and dining aresa which had everything you need, it also opened out on to a balcony which gave you an absolitely breathtaking view of the bay below.
The maid comes Monday - Friday (and you can also reques her to come on the weekend), the villas was always spotlessly clean after she left.
The main bedroom also has a balcony with a view of the bay, and there is a second double bedroom which just has a window.
Although the villa doesnt have air con in the main area we found that putting the air con on in the second bedroom and leaving the bedroom door opened enables all the cold air to filter round the villa which made it nice and cool. The main bedroom does have air con too which was a welcomed relief from the humidity.
The only thing i would say (if i had to be especially picky) is it might be a good idea for the owners to leave a citronella cande for the main balcony, just because the main balcony does attract the odd insect in the night.

As i said earlie the villa is on a hill but the views you get of the bay are breathtaking, there is a small vegetable store and 2 small shops just round the corner (about a 5 minute walk) from the villas which sell all your basics (usually there is also fresh fish to buy in the morning). The bay itself right by the villa isnt the greatest for swimming as it is shallow, but is very picturesque and good for paddling.
our favourate beach close by was Petit Anse (about 10 minute drive near the Kempinski resotrt), most of the beeches are lovely and there are very few people there.
The locals are all very very friendly and another bonus is that you don't feel like you are being overcharges in any of the shops (like you sometimes get in some countries when they realise your foreign).

Debbie gave us some details for a few excursion companies whilst we was there, and we went on one called '2 island melody' with 'creaole travel services', it consistently of a boat trip to Praslin and also La Digue, highly recommended. The only thing i found was that by email the company wanted to me to pay upfron 220 EUR per person for the trip, but instead i went in to there local office in Victoria when we arrives and they only charges us 185 EUR per person (i'm not too sure why there was such a big difference in the price, but i felt a bit like they were making up prices as they went along), nonetheless it was an amazing experience.
on one of our last days we took a drive up to 'Port Launay' and went in to the 'Contance Ephilia Resort' it was simply stunning and by far our favourate beach, you could use all the facilities in the hotel for free (free wifi, beech sun beds, water, pools). the sea at port luanay is sublime and was clear and calm.

I could not find any faults with this accomadation and was the best place I have ever stayed.

We booked these particular villas due to the high rating on Trip Advisor-we were not disappointed. As previously mentioned by other reviewers everything about these villas are first class;location, views, design of villa, etc.We arrived early in the morning and were graciously invited to join Debbie for coffee. We had arranged the car hire through Debbie and everything went without a hitch. She had also prepared an annotated map of the island with all the useful information we needed.e.g good restaurants ,petrol stations etc. After spending nine days in the Seychelles we can safely say that Sailfish Villas are excellent value for money. We booked directly with Debbie and we found her to be extremely professional and efficient. She is an excellent ambassador for the Seychelles.

Very clean. Staff were wonderful and happy to accommodate us at every request. View was absolutely sublime. Tucked away in the trees. We really enjoyed staying here and wanted for nothing. A very positive experience overall.

Room Tip: they were all good

Spacious, clean apartments, great views and the most wonderful welcome and service from Debbie & Hubert. You can buy fresh vegetables and fish at stalls down on the main road, just a short (steep) walk from the villas and there is a lovely beach there too. Highly recommended.
