Our stay at Un Patio was magnificent. It exceeded our expectations in every way. First, the entire house is incredibly cozy and charming. There are so many places to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Secondly, the breakfasts are outstanding. We looked forward to the special home baked pound cake, along with croissants and many other delicious items. Thirdly, Johnny Mike is an incredible host... he always makes our time there very special. For a wonderful stay in this lovely hamlet called Ansouis, you can't go wrong. We're looking forward to staying at Un Patio again next year.

The hosts are charming and welcoming, and the house and rooms are full of history, nooks and crannies, and are beautifully decorated and comfortable (you do have to be able to manage stairs). Breakfast and dinner are delectable and copious. The house is at the summit of the village, next to the castle and church, both worth a visit. Within easy driving distance of Aix, Avignon, Arles, Marseille, etc., but there is lots to see close by as well. We missed so much we'll have to go again!

We keep best memories to our visit at “Un Patio en Luberon“. Un Patio en Luberon is a individual, peaceful and very charming place. Our hosts were very obliging, hearty und charming: we felt like home with friends!

The whole chambre d'hotes is arranged with fantasy and much love on details, as you can see on the pictures.

The table d'hôtes prepared by Stéphane with it´s provencal specialities (5 courses, regional and very good wine) is magnifique. Stéphane (le chef ;-) is a very good cook and a good entertainer. He surprised us every evening again.
After dinner we enjoyed a digestiv (french infusion) together with all guests at terrace.

A special thanks to Jean-Michel, who was a very good counsel for all the fantastic places in Provence. During the breakfast he gave us very helpful advices for our trips. Un Patio en Luberon is very well located to discover all these wonderful places like Avignon, Aix, Marseille, Gordes and many more.

Anytime again, with pleasure!

Undoubtedly this is a hotel I would surely recommend. The hosts did their best to make the guests' stay pleasant and memorable. A beautiful historic building, cozy atmosphere thoroughly thought over. And the surprising bonus- evening aperitif made us feel over the moon. Definitely we will come back to stay there. Ekaterina & George

There are certain things one wants to keep for themselves. Un Patio en Luberon is one thing I wish to keep for myself. Un Patio en Luberon is defined in it's every detail, from the warm welcome, to the decor and to the hospitality of its 3 hosts. Tucked away up on on the medieval village of Ansouis in the heart of Provence, this charming bed and breakfast offers an experience only one can imagine and dream of. I've travelled to many capital cities in Europe experiencing the 5 star hotel chains and I can confidentally say that my experience at Un Patio en Luberon has been the best yet.

We stayed at Un Patio en Luberon in the tiny Provençal town of Ansouis for the first week of June, and it was truly one of the most beautiful places we've visited. Ansouis is one of France's "100 Plus Beaux Villages"; and looking out over the Luberon from our room, across from the town's bell tower, we often felt like we were part of a dream that might vanish into thin air. The maison d'hotes, in a carefully restored building with centuries of history, was so elegantly decorated that it could have been a "Fine Living" magazine spread. Jean-Michel, Michel, and Stephane all went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. They offered aperatifs in the evening, delicious breakfasts each morning, and even provided an extra espresso to my husband while he sat in the reception area waiting for me to finish dressing in the morning. While Ansouis is very small, it provided a great base for exploring other towns in that part of Provence. We would highly recommend both Ansouis and Un Patio en Luberon for a week that you'll treasure forever.
