They have managed to nicely display a wide variety of artifacts in a limited space. They have the lens and clockworks from the nearby Dueodde lighthouse. The is lots of maritime related items, like ship building tools, ship models and items from the defunct local East Bornholm Steamship Company. The top floor is mostly devoted to the war years when Bornholm was occupied by the Nazis. In May of 1945 the USSR bombed both Nexoe and Ronne, doing considerable damage and there are numerous before and after photos. All the displays are in Danish but they do have an English language brochure. Admission is 30DKK. It is open from mid May into October, 1000 to 1600 M-F and 1000 - 1400 on Sat. It is near the harbor on the main road through town.
