Café Bee transforms on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights from 5 until 9ish into Ash's Ale House. Real Ales sold on gravity from a cooled glass fronted cabinet in the corner behind the counter. Very friendly laid back service. 2 Gadds' beers on my visit. No. 7 was unfortunately on the way out with acetic taste and smell. Drank it to show willing - another customer tasted his partner's No. 7 and pronounced it was OK. The Gadds' She Sells Sea Shells was, however, in very excellent condition. The barmaid said the No. 7 cask was still one quarter full ... ugh! Not sure what, with limited opening days, the venue would do with a broached cask during the long period of non sales.
