This is the first time I have taken a large group of people to this Restaurant
From start to finish we received 5 star treatment and the food was fantastic
40 very happy diners and we can't wait to go back in June
Keep up the good work

There were nine of us to contend with we all had a starter which was excellent tasty and presented well.Selection of sticky beef and melon. Main course was hot tasty and in good quantity again presented well. There was no complaints from any of the group plates were well destroyed and eaten.Could have done with less vegetables this appears to have been too much. Desert was very good. The service given by the owners and the waitress was great attended to all our needs. We were impressed with the whole experience.

We have eaten here a few times in the last 18 months and can honestly say we have not eaten better food anywhere. The main dining area is quite spacious, so the tables are well spaced and beautifully set out. The a la carte menu is extensive and specials are usually also available. For a Birthday meal on a Tuesday evening we were surprised to be the only ones dining that evening. The service is excellent and the food quality is outstanding particularly steaks (including fillet and ribeye) and fish (including plaice, sea bass and usually Dover Sole). The Sauté Potatoes which are served in preference to chips are delicious. Desserts, which all look in house made, are also a delight, in particular the 6 mini tasters is worth a go if you can’t decide which mouthwatering option to choose. Needless to say this sort of quality food and restaurant comes at a price but it is worth every penny. There is a very small car park at the front but there is also a rear entrance from a much larger public car park. Highly recommended for that ‘Special Occasion’ meal that you wouldn’t want spoiled by average food or service.

10 of us went there today and we all were extremely impressed. The food is a cross between a good pub and a top restaurant and the service is the latter.
One of us had a small problem with part of the main course and it was dealt with immediately and professionally
Wish we had tried it before
