Just got back from a One Night All Inclusive Halloween ball at Potters. We were a group of 30 women celebrating a 40th birthday. We received a warm and friendly welcome and booking in went smoothly, we had our wrist bands fitted then off to find our hotel rooms. Not all of them were ready as we had arrived a little before 2pm but we had paid extra to have one room ready early so we could all meet up n have some nibbles n drinks (great having a fridge in the room) before donning our scary costumes ready for the evening. We all piled in the restaurant where we were looked after by the lovely waiters and waitresses. The food was lovely and nothing was too much to ask for. There was a fantastic atmosphere. We spent the rest of the evening in the Atlas Theatre dancing and enjoying the evening. Although drinks were included there was no cutting corners, with all well known brands being served up until 1am. Breakfast was delicious ( for those of us who could muster) and for those who couldn't the juice and coffee went down well. The buffet choice is brilliant and the cooked food is hot and fresh. We wished we could have stayed longer and enjoyed the facilities more but we had to go. We have all decided that it definitely wont be long before we are back again. Top marks to The Potter family and staff.

Room Tip: All hotel rooms are good but some have interconnecting doors which is brilliant for families or grou...

8th time at Potters, great accommodation, upgraded to suite ! very nice, food not as good as previous years, also our waitress was so slow,we were still waiting for our sweet at 7.55 pm,the bingo starts 8pm, not pleased about that, other than this small upset, we had a good week, PS Phones in the rooms would be good.

Room Tip: choose the hotel if you want to splash out !

We went as a group for a 40th birthday on a weekend drinks incllusive package. It is a very clean well organised resort. Food is nothing special but its adequate. Very friendly staff. We paid for a suite upgrade and it was fantastic. The room was huge with large plasma TV and four poster bed. The entertainment is excellent and went on late into the night. All drinks were included from 6pm and service in the bars was very good. The waiters and waitresses at out table were brilliant. The spa treatments were also very good. Its a good all in resort.and very well run. Its walking distance to the beach so good for kids too.

Room Tip: the upgrade is well worth it. The suites are huge.

I have been coming to Potters for many years now, and am still impressed every time I arrive.

Check-in was handled very well and within five minutes of arriving, we were in our hotel room. The room was spotless and decor was modern and had all the amenities that you could need. The bathroom is very spacious with two sinks, bath and shower with towel rail.

Daytime entertainment at Potters is very good, with perhaps too much choice! (not a bad thing) Entertainers keep you smiling all day and staff are very helpful indeed. Activities on the sports break include golf coaching, badminton coaching, tennis coaching to name but a few - with the regular entertainment such as kurling, hoy bingo and a new addition; segways.

Evening shows at Potters have recently got even better, with a much more professional cast. The dancing is ten times better than previous years, however the singing is possibly slightly worse - however if you have never before seen previous singers - you would not even be able to tell.

The food is always very good, from an all-you-can-eat breakfast to a buffet-style midnight meal.

One slight negative is the lack of investment in the Late night disco in the Galley Lounge. I feel that the equipment in this room is very dated and it shows with how few people go to the disco nowadays.

Overall, another great break at Potters and I look forward to returning very soon.

Room Tip: If you can afford the extra £15 a night, go for the hotel!

It's a family tradition - my children have gone since they were babies, so did my wife before them, and so did her mum before her!
Fantastic mix of high quality accommodation, top quality (West End level) entertainment, inclusive and copious food, top-notch sports facilities, great activities and an overall family feel.
Love the place :-D

Room Tip: The cheaper regular chalets (as opposed to more luxury levels or even the hotel) are fine - you only...

We have just left our half term mid week break at Potters. We choose to treat ourselves to the premier hotel rooms. Lovely, loads of room. Enough room to scoot around. We did more activities this time. Loads to choose from. The food was very good and plenty of choice. The staff are very happy to help with any dietary needs. As it should be with a holiday we were sad to leave but already looking forward to booking for next year.

Our very first visit to Potters at Hopton was made with a party from the local Bowls Club. The sight of several hundred bowlers in the dining room was quite impressive, as was the enthusiasm with which the teams competed for the trophies. The food, choice of menu, and service with a smile at all times, meant we left Potters intending to come back in the near future. We have since been to this resort many times over the ensuing years, and every time has been an enjoyable experience. We have stayed in the bungalows in earlier years, and later in the first-rate hotel accomodation. We have arrived with our own party celebrating a 50th birthday, great fun, and visited by ourselves, when it was nice to be with others of our age and have company in the evening. We had a wonderful one-night experience for the Jubilee, when the after-dinner entertainment was superb. The Potter family keep up a high standard at all times.

Room Tip: We choose a room on the ground floor, with good access to one of the car parks.
