I booked moonshine from 5-9th June for myself my baby girl my mum and our little cavalier we had a wonderful time!! The bungalow is literally right on the beach with fantastic views! sadly we had dreadful weather but we still enjoyed watching the rain from inside. The bungalow has everything you could need and is very comfortable.
We used to visit pagham regularly when I was a child and stay for holidays I'm now 34 and it's still as I remember; beautiful pebbly beach which is very quiet, the local amusements, cafe, and a few shops there's a co-op, fish and chips, takeaway etc.
If your looking for a peaceful seaside holiday moonshine is definitely the place to visit!! The views really made the holiday for us! We would love to return again and hopefully enjoy it all in the sunshine!
we loved everything about this accommodation. It really is right on the beach! the property itself is extremely well designed with plenty of space to chill out and watch the seascape. The quality furnishings and design touches have a wonderful mix of old and new. Extra surprises were the watersports equipment and buckets, spades, bats, balls etc. as this meant we could really make the most of being in a beachside home. Plenty of games and books to keep you busy if you have a rainy day. The sun rises to the left and stays all day onto the wooden decking area and the chairs and loungers are all provided. The pub, beach café, fish and chip shop, indian and Chinese takeaway are less than a ten minute walk, as is the well stocked local co-op store. We are definitely going back and highly recommend it.
We have been coming to stay at Moonshine at least twice a year as we love it so much. Ivor is a great landlord and very easy to talk to if needed. It is a very homely place with lovely sea views. Once there you feel relaxed and make yourself at home, not feeling like your afraid to make a drink. Everything you usually forget such as tea and coffee is there ready for you. The place is kept lovely and clean. You don't need to bring food with you as you can shop online and have Tesco deliver it. The back decking is perfect for sunbathing.
Visited Moonshine for a second year running (and hope to go again!) this little property is just perfect, well equipped, spacious, peaceful and right on the beach. The owners provided a lovely welcome pack of drinks and biscuits, lots of beach equipment, comfy beds etc and communication/booking etc was easy and trouble free.
Highly recommend this place, there's so much to do in the area: walks in Pagham harbour, shopping in Chichester, Maritime museums in Portsmouth and many other things in between!
Might be tricky to access for disabled due to the steps to the kitchen/bathroom/main entrance, other than this I cant think of a negative!
Just a perfect little beach property for a relaxing break
Such a great location. Directly on the beach with huge windows so no matter what the weather you get to enjoy the sea and the beach. It is a quiet location, a few shops, including a co-op and a fish and chip shop are within walking distance and of course fresh doughnuts a tradition when at the seaside. Bognor Regis is only a 10 minute drive away. We also visited Bosham Quay which is a pretty. Arundel and Chichester are also close by and make for great day trips.
Pagham beach is popular with walkers and joggers but is far from busy. Windsurfers and other water sports were also popular and entertaining to watch. The house very well equipped, with canoes and all sorts of equipment for you to use.
Plenty of comfy seating inside and out. We could not fault it in anyway and enjoyed every moment of our stay.
It is very aptly named Moonshine, we was there for full moon and it was so bright it reflected on the sea and into the house, just beautiful. We will definitely be returning.
We spent a lovely week in Moonshine, it was quirky, clean, comfortable and well equipped. Being dog friendly is a great bonus and it was very relaxing. The views are stunning and the beach and nature reserve great for walking the dogs. We also loved the silence – not a single car or motorbike engine to be heard, we could sit for ages and only hear the waves and the birds. The weather was amazing and we even managed some sunbathing – in March!!
