Great location, fun vibe, affordable cocktails and good food! I love the idea of share plates and I left Flux full and happy! My partner and I found the crumbed olives were a salty treat that went down great with a few beers from the wide selection (no crappy brews here). While our seared scallops weren't actually seared at all, we both agreed that the lemongrass and ginger custard was worth the $4 a plate! The corn and pecorino hushpuppies hit the spot and just like the scallops, were served with an herbed aioli that I couldn't get enough of! While we heard great things about the pork belly and generally cannot resist ordering it, it was a miss for us. The portions were inadequate, there wasn't enough meat and crispy crackling for the amount of fat on the plate.
Overall though a really great night! We will definitely return!
