“Brazilian BBQ fun in Noosaville”
Reviewed January 8, 2014

We had a friends 50th here and went for the 11 serve banquet. It is a novel idea of slicing the meats directly at the table from the giant skewers. I think it was All you could eat for $38pp. The lamb and beef were the winners. A warning though, pace yourself. If you just have one slice of each meat you'll power on through to the pineapple finally. Some went too hard and fast early. I passed on the chicken hearts but others enjoyed them. They will keep replenishing the side dishes as required-all tasty. Service could improve. A smile would crack some of their faces but maybe it was the heat and having to work over a BBQ. The Brazilian cocktails went down a treat too. This place is another winner for Noosaville. With something like 40 cafes and restaurants within an easy walk it is the place for foodies.

“A new experience”
Reviewed January 8, 2014

4 family members attended for a birthday celebration (2 adults, 2 teenagers). This was our first time at the restaurant. The staff were very welcoming, attentive and polite. The restaurant is across the road from Noosa River and on hot nights i would recommend a seat outside, although it is on the roadside pavement. The restaurant is quite small inside and could potentially get noisy, crowded and stuffy. The food experience was enjoyable and a. Novelty. We all did the $38.50 option which included 11 different types of meat and a choice of 5 accompanying dishes such as pear and walnut salad. What the salads lacked in quantity was made up for with generous servings of meat sliced and served at your able. The meat was tender and tasty with options of beef, pork, lamb, chorizo and even chicken hearts. Tip: pace yourself as all of the meat becomes filling very quickly.
Drinks reasonable prices with a beer or cider at $7.00. There is an option of BYO wine with a nine dollar corkage charge. A reasonable choice of wines between 7 and 9 dollars a glass. Overall an enjoyable experience, would be happy to return. You will need to book in advance as the restaurant gets vey busy and has 2 sittings of an evening 6.00 and 8.00 pm.

“Ok but not great”
Reviewed January 8, 2014

Spent new years eve there. Friendly and helpful staff but I thought food would be a little better. Good location. We st outside as it wa s a hot night. Inside would have been boiling. Desert took 20-30 minutes to come out and we had to remind them. Good to try once. Better Brazilian on the Gold Coast.

“Great family restaurant”
Reviewed January 7, 2014

Really enjoyed our experience at this restaurant. We went with our 7 mth old and 6 yr old. Would recommend to sit outside where it is cooler (no air con inside on a hot day).

The staff were amazing, when we requested to move outside mid-meal due to the heat....it wasn't a problem and they were very obliging - extremely impressed.

The food was delicious, great value for money and filling.

“What a mixed message jumble”
Reviewed January 3, 2014

We were initially excited to visit this restaurant however after being seated in an overcrowded hot inside table we were quickly disappointed. We had to remind waiters of of our orders particularly drinks then given the "oh you are a problem attitude" & served wrong drinks in the end. The food while some good flavored meat dishes others were cook at home on the Barbie style and when carving at the table waiters giving less than desirable attitude when asked for a second slice which I believe we were paying for considering we didn't try every meat dish, we found this attitude totally not called for! The side salads were interesting some tasty & filling trying to distract eaters from having too much of the meat when served. The owner/manager happy then cranky what the????? Can' t say we would come back.
