“Quite possibly the worst service I've ever experienced!”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 31, 2012

I went to the yacht club with a friend of mine for lunch and to meet up with some of his friends. A nice looking venue with a lovely outlook. Well I won't ever go back. The manager was, on several occassions, incredibly rude and condesending to myself and those I was with and we were forced into a stand up arguement with him in our defence. However I must add the final straw was when one of the waitresses, who was looking as though she was coming over to take my empty plate away, in fact put down 2 dirty plates from another table and walked off! I was stunned! We all laughed in utter amazement. She'd gone to take some empty glasses from another table to the bar. I went up to the bar and told her to remove the plates..she said 'oh, I was coming back to pick them up'. How very thoughtful of her.

Don't bother with this place. Service is appauling and is known to be by the locals.

“Great Views without the Noosa Crowds”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 6, 2012

I have been going to the Yacht Club for a few years now in preference to the Surf Club at Noosa Main Beach. The reason? A much quieter venue, better food choice and generally a more relaxed atmosphere. Thankfully, no TAB! Take a bus from Noosa (626 or 627 every 15 mins) if you like a drink or two like us!

Become a member, only $20. For this you get 10% off all drinks and can take advantage of member food specials. Plus you assist the Club and the great junior program that they run.

We spend at least one afternoon a week there each holiday. We go to Noosa for a month each year. The balcony and views of the Noosa River are great: the food is great: yes they have the usual deep fried stuff but also offer a selection of really good food at very reasonable prices. Drinks are also good value and have a surprising wine list, which offer glass or bottle options.

Sunday Sessions are great with live music 2.30 to 5.30pm.

While I have visited many times over the years, it has always been off season, I would imagine peak times would be pretty crowded.
