We celebrated our daughters wedding at Noosa Waterfront Restaurant. We went with a cocktail reception and everyone had a wonderful experience. Ample, delicious food, great service, wonderful location under a bridge on the water. I would definite recommend Noosa Waterfront for good, honest, tasty and atmospheric experience.

We had a spontaneous dinner last night at the Waterfront restaurant on the river in Noosaville and it was fabulous in every aspect. We've eaten in quite a few places around Hastings street and the river and this has just become one of our favourites! From the decor and layout to the food and wine, Tim made our night memorable. As a plus, we found the Waterfront restaurant has good value for money on their dishes compared to others of the same caliber in the area. I had oysters to begin, which were nice & meaty and a good size for average price. My partner had the prosciutto entree, which was a generous helping and simply enjoyable. We also shared a garlic pizza bread, which was a highlight of the meal. Tim told us they have an Italian chef come in 5 times a week just to make their pizza dough and it is wonderful! very light, crispy and a perfect accompaniment to any of the dishes here. I had the swordfish for my main and was surprised by the simply great flavours of the meal. My partner had the sirloin, which was prepared exactly to his liking and paired with good sides to enhance the beef perfectly. To finish I enjoyed the cheese plate, even though I did have most of it packed up to take home after such a big meal. And the creme brule proved a brilliant finish for my partner as well! The simplicity of the food combined with a nice Italian wine, a little LemonZ and beautiful Tassie pinot noir to finish really made this a stand out evening! Thank you very much, we will be back soon :)

Dining on a wet Wednesday night, we found the atmosphere at the Waterfront to be fairly lacking, however this was more than made up for by the attentive and friendly nature of our waiter, who I also believe was the owner.

We started with a baby calamari entree to share which was light, crisp and delicious, served with an intriguing dipping sauce consisting of a white wine vinegar sugar syrup- sounds weird but it went really well!
This was followed by lamb rump and duck breast for main courses. The duck breast was cooked perfectly and complemented by the juicy orange segments, however the overcooked fennel tasted a little mushy and was a bit of a disappointment. The lamb was deliciously tender and was served with marinated vegetables. The accompaniment was a little disappointing.
The dessert consisted of butterscotch creme brulee which was crunchy on top, however still a little cool in the middle. The apple crumble was served piping hot with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and it was lovely. This was all washed down with a bottle of very reasonably priced Yarra Valley Chardonnay.
Overall it was an enjoyable meal!

We enjoyed a great dinner although the service was a little slow...no doubt because of the poor weather and lack of staff and customers. I had a beautiful fillet of beef and my partner had a seafood brodetto which he raved about. The position is great but cant comment on the view because it was night and it was raining. Its a little expensive but if you are looking for a good meal its worth a look.
