“Great Food but address should be updated”
Reviewed August 26, 2013

We had a booking at Little Humid - looked the address up online and when the taxi driver said we had arrived we noticed he had driven us to the location of "Humid" restaurant, I believe the place the owners were running before opening Little Humid.
Once we actually got to the restaurant we were amazed by the food - it was delicious!

We went on a weekday night and were the only customers under 30 years old - and the last ones to leave (at around 9:30pm).

I would definitely go back!

“Little Humid is not Humid”
Reviewed August 24, 2013

The first thing that I will stress is that the original Humid and Little Humid are two entirely different restaurants. I can understand why Mary and her partner Michelle elected to change venues and it was obvious from the number of guests, this has been a spectacular success. However, success often comes at a cost and in our opinion this has been in certainly the quality of service and also the prices. We had a party of 6 and things did not start well when the waitress stood idly by while we all waited (with growing impatience) to share one wine list. After a gentle verbal nudge, the waitress gave out a couple more which were sitting on a table close by....it wasn't as if they were in short supply. Similarly, the same waitress, while she was obviously familiar with the menu volunteered nothing until asked in detail....it was all a bit like pulling teeth. The menu from Humid has changed, with some of the old signature dishes there in part or whole. The wine list offers a reasonable selection, but is heavily geared towards guests buying a bottle as distinct from a glass, viz. a very ordinary glass of NZ sav blanc was $12.00. Yep you heard right. I've never paid $12.00 for a pretty ordinary glass of wine, ever. Also, at Humid it was OK to BYO and pay corkage which we were always very happy to do, but this facility is not available at Little Humid. Also lost is the pre-meal delicious and complimentary bread with balsamic and oil which was a very nice touch. It now forms part of the menu. Michelle and the kitchen brigade worked well and all dishes arrived within a very acceptable time frame and the food was typical of the high standards of Mary and her team. However, Little Humid has lost the ambience and special feel of Humid which previously catered more for the local clientele. Rather, than the new venue is significantly larger, seats a lot more guests, is noisier and aimed at more the well heeled Noosa tourists. Little Humid is just another slick, but very good standard of busy restaurant. What has been significantly lost in translation from Humid is that very special feeling imparted by Mary who tended to serve most guests by herself in a venue that had a wonderfully intimate feel.

“Great food”
Reviewed August 21, 2013 via mobile

Had a delicious meal here a few weeks ago on a 'date night' with my hubby. My salmon was perfect and the steak my hubby had was melt in the mouth. Dessert was a pudding perfect for a winter evening - very happy customers!

“Perfect in Every Way”
Reviewed August 15, 2013

We are huge fans of the old Humid restaurant and it is fantastic to see the new Little Humid. The staff are still as friendly and personable as ever and the food is sensational. The entree of Sticky Pork Belly and Squid on Cauliflower puree was amazing and the sticky date and chocolate pudding for dessert was to die for!

The prices are good especially for the quality - not the type of meal you can afford every day but definitely save it for a special occasion or when on holidays.

We had so much fun and I can't wait to go back.

“How disappointing!”
Reviewed August 15, 2013

We have eaten at Humid in the past and thought it was absolutely marvellous. Tonight was our first visit to Little Humid. Gone has the wonderfullly special feeling of the old restaurant. The new venue has little ambience and is very noisy. You could be at any local restaurant in the area. And where have the freshly baked little loaves of bread disappeared to? Our appetizers were only moderately good. The lamb brik was light on spice. The pork belly with salt and pepper squid rather bland (where was the pepper in the salt and pepper?) The over-worked waiter who served us had little knowledge of the wines. When I asked him to pass some feedback to the chef regarding our disappointment that the freshly baked loaves of bread had been replaced with something quite ordinary I was told she would not want to hear any negative feedback. All in all an anticlimax to what we had considered would be one of this visit to Noosa's best culinary experiences
