We had takeaways last night. Our order was battered snapper and red emperor fish, crumbed prawns and of course chips. Taking the chips first , smaller semi shoe strings , Barbara loved them it I am afraid I am a chip snob, the Rolls Royce of chip are prepared the Heston Bumenthal method, thrice cooled to achieve the crunch However it is unfair to expect that level of attention to detail in regular takeaways. Now the fish, both fillets we of a good size, batter was light and crisp , and the taste was of freshly filleted product, correctly handled and cooked, not all takeaways are this fussy, full marks chaps! The prawns were a commercially prepared product but cooked well , moist and tasty. Overall one of the better takeaways I have had, l like your work!
