We stopped here for lunch while on an AAT Kings Litchfield tour. The lunch was self serve buffet style and was very average. We were told the place is basically run by backpackers and it really looked like something you would put together on a backpackers budget!
I cannot comment on the food available to people not on tours but our meal was only saved by the excellent "World Famous mango Cheesecake" which was delicious although we did have to pay extra for it.
Fair enough the cafe is a bit remote and we were not expecting too much but unfortunately we thought it was under par and could have been much better.
My review would have been 2 stars except for the yummy cheesecake.

We have stopped here a few times and the surroundings are nice with seating inside and out.
Sometimes better inside due to the amount of flies and depending on the time of year.
The burgers and salads are always good.
Get in early for lunch as you do get tourist groups here, but they usually have a buffet set-up
around the corner in their own area.

We were on our way to Litchfield NP and stopped for some coffee. It was the WORST coffee we have EVER had - we ordered a latte and a long macchiato and they were both the same thing. Absolutely terrible!!

This Cafe may look a little rough but it is clean, the food is good and it is a cool spot to stop and relax. The staff was great even though when we were there it was very busy.

Me and my husband we came here last year. It was a beautiful oasis, the cook was french and he was bloody good, the barramundi was the best I ever had.
We remeber that lovely french girl at the counter, she was smily and very nice.
This year we are so disappointed !
Firstly the café moved and it's not so beautiful (it's closer to wangi though) but I was shocked by the employers, specially a dutch guy, he introcudes himself as the owner (last year they were Australians) and he is so rude and racist!
it was shocking when he said that aboriginals are not welcome and then he laughed !!! They are close to an art gallery, how can they say such a thing?!!!
Also he was always going to the cashier taking notes to put them in his pocket, like he was scared about being robber. Very strange !
And also he asked to pay cents for tomato sauce when we ordered chips and a hot-dog!!!!
He said it's because they are far from Darwin (it's only 90 minutes drive) we were in the desert and we paid less for best food !
