We booked this as a late deal through Teletextholidays. The location of the hotel is a long way out of Alanya on the main beach road. There is nothing nearby apart from a hotel next door with a loud disco which the Russians use. If you want other bars or shopping then it's a 40 min bus ride into town.

The hotel itself is clean. The rooms are cleaned daily and the public areas are clean.
The bar is very limited in terms of drinks available. One draft lager, gin or vodka. Soft drinks are bitter lemon, flat lemonade and cheap cola.

Most staff don't speak much English.

Sunbeds. We went at the start of July and you had to get up at 6am to bag a sunbed. Some people left towels out all night to secure their sunbed. Not the hotel's fault, just a system in place upheld by the visitors to the hotel. There are not enough sunbeds by far.

The entertainment team. Great if you have kids. They like to do a regular kids disco with the same songs in the evening. There was a Turkish night where you watched dancing (4 people on a mini stage). The water aerobics was disappointing. 5 mins in the water and then dancing at the side of the pool for 10 mins. The rest of the time was watching the guys posing around the pool or playing Ibiza style music from their laptop over the PA through the day.

The pool is small but clean. There's a small water slide which is opened on and off in the day.

The bar/public area is disappointing as there is no atmosphere and no music.

The lift gets stuck frequently and often goes to floors you don't request, missing your own. We avoided using it.

Food was dreadful. We skipped breakfast. Cereals were flavourless. The rest was just bread, salads or cold meats. Great for the Russians but not for a British appetite. Lunch was better...more salads. Dinner was also disappointing with tasteless food and little variety. We went into Alanya for 4 out of 7 nights.

Room Tip: Ask for a beach facing room overlooking the pool. If you have a garden view (still facing the beach) you'll have to suffer the next door disco noise.

After reading many negative reviews, I was afraid, but it surprised me a lot :-) it´s not a luxurious hotel but who would expect it according to prize? We were very satisfied, rooms were clean and the view breathtaking! there was cleaning everyday, when we needed to change towel, we leaved it at the floor and we got clean one...
Food was tasty and there was wide choice, so everybody could find something for him/her...meat usually chicken, a lot of salads, fruits, cakes, for breakfast delicious bread, butter, a loot of cheese, ham, eggs, vegetable, cornflakes, milk...really good choice!
The staff was very friendly and helpful, most of them could speak English.
The pool is great if you want to refresh, there is also some program with animators like water aerobic if you are interested.
The beach just across the street, can be safely reached by underpass. It´s not sandy but with little stones. Beach bar with non-alcoholic beverages (soda, cola, sweet limonade) and beer, few hours a day also Gözleme (traditional Turkish savoury pastry dish). We were there at the beginning of summer, so we didn´t have problem to find some sunbeds and parasols, but it´s true that in high season it must be a problem to get one...

Room Tip: majority of rooms have a sea-view, which is really beautiful

We were in summer holiday on july 2012 in this lovely hotel. I have to say that after my trip I read the reviews of the hotel and i was sure it was another hotel what they were talking about. Hotel rooms were nice, and we had a balcony towards the sea so we could sit in our balcony and watch the sun go down. Food was mostly different salads, rice and potatoes, chicken and meat, cheeses, breads, fruits, something from the grill and desserts. Bar was open for drinks. They made some snacks during the day and from the beach you could get some hamburgers in certain time of the day. I think food was good.
pool was clean and enough for us and children. Our daughter wanted mostly to swim in the pool and slide from the waterslide. Our son who was 1 year at that time had great time in kids swimming pool. Most of our time we spent next to the pool. Beach was also nice. Not sand beach but still. I enjoyed the fact that hotel was little bit further away from the busy beaches, so you could get your own privacy more.
Staff in the hotel were so nice and warm people. Also other people in the hotel were nice, we made some friends during our stay that we still hold contact with. Every night there was childrens disco and some fun activity for adults. Our kids really enjoyed everything in there and so did I.
We did some basic tourist activity, but mostly we stayed in the hotel since it was really relaxing. Now we have booked same hotel for this year also.I sincerely can recommend this hotel to familys also.

Room Tip: Rooms with balcony to sea are the best :)

booked this hotel by mistake, thought it was the ideal in Marmaris. After paying then realizing the mistake I checked the reviews and was horrified at the very negative reviews it had got on this website. I was dreading the holiday. To start, the hotel is not really a 4* by UK standards more a 3*. Our room although basically furnished was spotlessly clean and cleaned every day with clean towels and bedding. It did smell a little of cigarettes on our arrival but that went. The staff were all pleasant and polite, quickly clearing tables, glasses etc. they mostly spoke some English. The public areas were very clean as was the pool area, the cleaners were always around to clear rubbish left by inconsiderate guests. The garden area at the front of the hotel was pretty. The food was the usual Mediterranean fayre, not to everyone's taste but then it is Turkey, not Blackpool. It could be a little more varied but there was usually chicken, salad, soup, crusty bread. the desserts were the same every day, little cakes, mousses, fruit. There are little cakes and biscuits at 4 o clock. It was nice that the chefs could be seen cooking. There is an indoor and outdoor eating area. If you're a non-smoker I would eat inside as all the non English seemed to smoke, and lit up as soon as they had finished eating instead of moving to the bar area. It seems we have become used to our non smoking in public areas country very quickly. During our visit there was a good mix of nationalities and lots of friendly banter. The hotel is across a busy dual carriageway from the sea and beach. the road noise could be off putting but the view is worth it. There is a private underpass from the hotel to the beach which could do with a lick of paint. There is a beach bar, sunbeds and parasols. The beach is very pebbly and falls quite steeply to the sea, not suitable for young children really. The hotel is 14km from Alanya and is in a fairly quiet area. The road at the back of the hotel has plenty of little shops and cafes. You can flag down a dolmus into Alanya for next to nothing right outside the hotel. There seems to be a lot of investment in the area, a lot of the pavement areas were being renewed and buildings being renovated. We had 2 really good trips arranged by Alex who has a little premises just outside the hotel. A quad bike trip up into the mountains and a Turkish night with belly dancers etc. The one thing I would say is I am not sure what the place would be like at full capacity in the height of the season as I don't think the the public areas are spacious enough. There certainly wouldn't be enough sunbeds, we counted 60 for 100 + rooms. All in all it was a good holiday and the place was so much nicer than I thought it would be. Some people would find fault in paradise!

Room Tip: We asked for a sea view room and were allocated one on the 2nd floor. There is a busy road in front but the view is lovely. Maybe 3rd or 4th floor would be quieter. The sun is at the front all day and into the evening. Could still hear the sound of the waves though. The back of the hotel has distant views of the mountains but closer to it its not so pretty.

Myself and husband went for our anniversary and after reading the reviews on here I was afraid very afraid!! lol However upon getting there it was nice staff were very accommodating, check in took all of 5 minutes, Room was lovely the view was great, it was clean and the cleaners came everyday to change towels and make beds. food was nice although a bit same some more variety would be nice (I was ok as i liked salad!) but in fairness there was always something you could eat. bar staff and waiters were very friendly i would say not alot of choice for drinks if your very fussy but always Wine,Beer, Soft drinks,Tea and Coffee .
The pool area was nice and was cleaned every day, the garden area was also well kept, there was a little underpass in the garden of the hotel that took you to the beach, the beach in this part of Turkey is pebbles but still very nice to just sit and watch the world go by or people watch.
As it was our anniversary they had made the room up with swan towels and rose petals also a fruit basket and bottle of red wine, and on the actual anniversary night its self they had made a table up, again nicely decorated. we were made to feel very special.
Now i would say it's not a 4* but they say when going to any middle eastern countries a 4* would be classed as a UK 3* however it's what you make it! if your fun loving, not to picky and get on easily with people you will like it. The location was perfect for us it was quiet but not to quiet as it was just outside of Alanya (Very busy) so we had best of both worlds, Me and the husband had a great time went on the Viking boat trip seen the sights, shopping in Alanya we even caught a bus!!! which is about 60p very cheap and well worth doing. We have even looked at booking again same time next year.

Room Tip: We had a corner room at the front of the hotel that overlook the beach, pool and gardens nice to watch sun going down at night.
