What can I say. This place is fantastic. We've just got back and were family of 4, kids are five and three. Please read the bad reviews on this hotel and after you have been picture the kind of people they must be. If you gave them the winning lottery ticket they would moan that is was crumpled!

Rooms- they are tired, especially the family rooms but functional, comfortable, good air con, well stocked minibar and good maid service. Bathroom very small.

Complex- beautiful, enormous and set in a forest. Think centerparks in turkey but with pretty low rise buildings. Kids pools are fantastic, water slides that save you the money on going to a water park. If you are older or a couple you have a choice of a relax pool or adults only pool. There's even a fairground for the kids which buys you some time!! Spa is good but treatments are very expensive as are tour company trips. Anything they offer you can be done for less than half by leaving the hotel. Lots of Germans at the hotel but none of the usual stereotypical problems.

Food- this is where this hotel excels. Eight a la carte restaurants. We tried Chinese- exceptional. Turkish - fantastic kebabs and Turkish meze. Mexican- average really. Buffet restaurant was also really good. Salads, kebabs, fish all beautiful , fresh and plentiful. Breakfast was particularly good. The usual omelette stations and you can book a Turkish breakfast a la carte. Fresh fruit was a little restricted. Some review the reservation system as complex but it isn't really. Just ring at 9am and it's done. Lunch choices are many, I recommend the beach bar.

Drinks- ice cold effes beer on tap everywhere you go. All bars do the most fantastic cocktails. I recommend the raspberry martini. All the branded spirits like absolute vodka, jack Daniels etc... Lobby bar or English pub!! Is not but it's useful to have the bar there if you are in the family block.

Service- these people do everything they can to deliver great service , they are always cleaning the place and they love children.

Beach - very pleasant, stones and sand a little rough on kiddies feet but water calm and nice. They have jetties into the sea with comfy beds and steps into the sea. Expensive but wide ranging watersports available on the beach.

Location- on the strip of luxury hotels outside side. Nothing around locally but side and the Market at manavgat easily reachable for a quid on the bus outside. Market hectic but you don't get hassled and some real bargains to be had. Aim for half price or lower when haggling. Side a must especially the old ruins. You can get two course meal for 4 for £20.

Entertainment - animation team work very hard, some good stuff but generally when outside companies come in. Rest of it so so and worth watching. Because of kids we didn't get the chance to go to praga beach club but this is the adults only bar at night with live music etc.. Lots going on round the pool.

To summarise, we have been all over the place including sandals and although you haven't got the White sand beach and that Caribbean feeling- this place is as close as you will get to that level of all inclusive. You cannot get anything like this in Spain in my view and if you could it would cost you double. Worth every penny and will be back next year. Enjoy....

Have had two trips to Turkey in two years glad I went back as this Hotel complex was way better than last years and last year was throiugh a Turkish company! This year went with Thomas Cook and the hotel staff were extremely accomodating.
Last year went with Anatonian Sky to Hotel Meri in Oledeniz which cost more for seven days than this did for 10 and here we had eight A Le Carte restaurants to choose from and an adult only buffet if required as well. The standard of food in all restaurants was excellent and the choice in the buffet restaurants was simply outstanding. There was also an adult only pool and peir to sunbath on, but the facilities for children was also top class could not find fault with anything they offered.
If we had one gripe it was that the rooms were a little bit tired, but next year they will be renovating the complex so standards will only get better. Our room was one of four in a small bungalow set in the forest about 1 mile from Side, it was quite, relaxing and the gardens surrounding the rooms were well manicured.
Overall we had a great holiday thank you Voyage Sorgun

i spent 10 days at the hotel with my wife and son aged 9.and all the staff so friendly. The hotel caters for every need, i notice a lot of elderly people at the hotel along with young children and many from the age group 18 to 30, The hotel is very clean and the room is kept spotless by the maid. My son has A.D.H.D and is on the go most of the day, the staff especially guest relations did a fantastic job in catering for him. I also noticed a number of other guests with special needs being looked after by the staff. I would like to say a big THANKYOU to all members of staff

Without a doubt this the best holiday resort I have ever been to and choosing my next holiday destination is going to be so hard after going here. I will end up comparing every other hotel I go to against this one. I might have to continue with the 'voyage' chain of hotels to make sure I always have the best quality of hotel.
I don't need to go into the specifics about the hotel as it was amazing in every sense. Xxx

We spent the first 2 weeks of April in this hotel and could not fault it. The food was great particularly in the a la carte restaurants and if there is any complaint it was that there was too much of it! The staff were very friendly and the entertainment team did a brilliant job with the variety of activities on offer. Would definitely return.

I can't say enough about this fabulous place!!! If I could give it a 10, I would. There was only one issue that the hotel needs to address and that is the Internet, or lack thereof. I really want wi fi in my room and pretty much everywhere. This was not the case. Wi fi was available in certain lobbies/bars/common areas, but was sketchy at best. Please, please, please fix this problem before I come back....and YES!!!! I will be coming back! :-)

Read Alexandra Walker's review. It pretty much mirrors a review I would write.

Room Tip: Get in the main building with an ocean view!

My partner & I visited the Voyage Sorgun hotel at the end of September start of October 2011, for 2 weeks. The weather was fantastic atleast 27 degrees everyday, it rained once for about an hour & that was it! As we pulled up to the hotel in the Thomas Cook coach I was a little worried as to what I'd booked! There is a minature ferris wheel & children's play area, that looked pretty tacky! Luckily I had read a review before arriving that warned me of this...so I am doing the same for you!

We went into the reception area & 'English Pub' which is pretty naff & we didn't visit this area again till we left! I must say this really is not a great first impression of the hotel & does not do it justice in any way. I was relieved to get on one of the golf carts & be driven to our room...which was amazing!! We were so lucky with the room we were allocated. We got a Bungalow room, with only 3 other rooms in the block. It was set in the beautiful pine forest of the Sorgun & just a 2 minute walk from the main annexe and pool area, however still very quiet at night time. We were greeted with an enormous red bow on the front door, fruit, champagne & a fruit basket in the room! I was a bit shocked & asked the bell boy if we were in the right room! He said the guest relations team thought we were on honeymoon....which we weren't! But weren't complaining:)

In terms of the food & themed restaurants at the hotel, which there are 7 of! They really are very good. They are not quite the same as you'd expect for an Italian or Chinese restaurant in the UK, but that really does add to the fun. We tried all the restaurants, the Mexican was the most authentic. Italian was also good, but there was alot to eat!! 4 courses in total, so have a 'lite' lunch before hand! The Chinese was also good, set in the pine forest which was lovely & very romantic. The Turkish was also really good, however I think they may have squashed a few too many tables in & some of the guests really were eating in the dark! A few more solar lamps wouldn't go a miss. But the food was really interesting & great to get a real taste of Turkey. Out of all the themed restaurants I would say the French was probably our least favourite, but still worth a try & the waiters were the most friendly & fun. I would also say that they really went out of their way to provide a tasty Vegetarian meal for me, the head chef even came out & checked I enjoyed it. It was delicous...but I'm not sure my boyfriends meal was quite as nice. There are 2 main buffet style restaurants, Adult only & family. We started off in the Adult only one, the food was nice, lots of choice & variation, but we found at breakfast it was sometimes difficult to get a clean table & they definately needed to put a few more waiters on. We decided to try the Family buffet restaurant & went there everyday from then on. Although sometimes in the morning you did have to search around a bit for a clean table, we were in no rush & the waiters were far quicker at clearing & re-setting for you. I loved the fresh pancakes every morning, with every topping you can imagine! Also fresh omlettes, cooked breakfasts, toast, cereal, museli & fresh fruit. Fantastic. For lunch we often ate here too, salads, freshly cooked pasta, meats, fresh fish, potato dishes, chips etc. The main dishes changed daily & plenty for Vegetarians. We also discovered the 'Beach Bar' which turns into the Italian restaurant in the evenings. They served freshly made pizzas, salad bar, chips, rotisserie chicken and steak baguettes. We really enjoyed this & couldn't get enough of the freshly made pizzas!!! They were delicous. Watch out for the wasps though-best to cover your drinks! Not to mention the all you can eat Mini Magnums, Cornettos, Calipos & more. The kids seem to love these....& so did the adults!

The sunbeds directly on the beach did go quite quickly, but we still managed to find a couple next to each other & that was around 11am. The beds around the main pool filled up quickly, so if you have children this is a popular area & I'd advise you get down there around 7am. There are many other pools though to choose from. We liked the pool & bar just before you enter the main annexe building, Relax pool I think it was called. The bar tenders were really friendly & will make you any cocktail you can think of...all with branded drinks!

My boyfriend and I are in our mid 20's & really enjoyed the Beach bar, which is down by the Italian restaurant. It has live DJ's every night & great views out to sea. We danced the night away till gone 2am most nights!

This is by far the best All Inclusive we have been to. Our 3rd visit to Turkey & 5th All Inc Hotel. All the alcoholic drinks are branded & I was delighted to see they had every one of my favourite Absolut Vodka flavours, plus Malibu, Archers, Jack Daniels, etc etc. This hotel is great for families & couples. I can see some of the negative points I've read in other Trip Advisor reviews: tables not being cleared quickly enough, sometimes adult only buffet understaffed, 7 Al a Carte restaurants have a 'Turkish' spin on them. But we had a great holiday, fantastic food, drink & weather. We are booking up for 2012....& you should too!

Room Tip: Definately pay a bit extra for a Bungalow room, they are well worth it. We were lucky enough to get...
