iam sitting on the balcony looking out to sea with a view which can only be described as breathtaking we have paid just over £500 per head for a 2 week stay so dont expect 5 star .plus points reception ask and they will tell you you need to know and moore food is excellant not the biggest selection but very tasty and well presented ,drinks are a little hit and miss beer and wine fine but the shorts are not the best but you have a fridge in the room so a nice bacardi on the balcony with a branded bottle from the local shop soon puts everything right the pool areas are great with beds and space no problem .would i stay here again yes without any hesitation but over the 2 weeks we will probably eat out 6 times which is fine when you think what we have paid

Room Tip: rooms 603 to 605 give a great sea view rooms at rear are best for wi fi

We have just come back after a lovely quiet tranquil relaxing time here would recommend this small friendly clean out of the way hotel to anyone wanting a lovely cheap break away from it all, remember your in Crete and its not 5star and don't expect to much and you will enjoy it ,the food is average but you wont go hungry not much choice for children so if your kids are faddy with food don't go there ,teenagers will be bored as no entertainment but not a bad thing as people talked around the bar and socialized with each other we met some great people and did have a laugh ,although the all inclusive drinks finish at 10.30pm you can stock up or pay for your drinks or bring your own ,the lads that work there 3 of them work their butts off and remain happy and friendly they start at 6am and work till well after 11pm do Breakfast, lunch ,evening meal and serve the bar all day the place is kept lovely and clean and very pretty and maids and reception very friendly and helpful ,very quiet lanes to walk around and lovely scenery but like I say your in Crete ,would go back again for a cheap deal good value for your money

Arrived back from a peaceful and relaxing holiday at this friendly hotel. On arrival the receptionist was very welcoming and she couldnt do enough for us.The whole hotel was kept very clean and tidy, including the room which had a daily service (clean linen and towels every two days). The three barmen/staff were extemely helpful and always happy, have to say they work very hard morning to night. The pool area is adequate size and ample beds for all, only a short walk to a stoney beach but the sea is beautiful and clear, also along the beach front is a lovely beachbar (first class food and service) which is an excellent location to watch the most beautiful sunset. On the whole excellent value for money and wouldnt hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a relaxing, quite and peaceful break.

I just got back from staying here for a weeks holiday with my friends. We had a really good time. We had quite low expectations after getting a cheap last minute deal, but this hotel was fantastic value for money and we can highly recommend it.
The hotel, rooms and pool area are very clean and we could not find fault with them.
The staff were very friendly and helpful - especially the girl on reception who couldn't do enough for us.
The food was very nice, something for everyone really, and all nice and fresh.
The location is peaceful with stunning views. It is also really close to the beach. There is little else to do unless you catch a bus into the nearest town or hire a car - the bus stop is only a 2minute walk from the hotel though.
The only down side to the hotel is this... we found the two barmen a little too friendly... they kept calling us beautiful etc which was flattering in the beginning but then attempted to take pictures of us our bikinis! When we told them no they barely spoke to us for the rest of the holiday! They also got a little grumpy with us when we stopped drinking after the all inclusive cut off!
But this did not spoil are time at all, overall we had a lovely time and would go back.

Just arrived back from this wonderful Hotel with my husband and son age 7, we have had a fantastic week here and thought it was excellent value for money, it is in a quiet location in Travronitis the Hotel is very well managed with excellent staff who were always polite, friendly and helpful, the room we had slept three and was very spacious, with balcony, mini fridge, hair dryer, safe, air conditioning and TV (no English channels) the room was cleaned every day with fresh towels there were two swimming pools and one toddler pool which were well maintained surrounded by ample sun beds in a lovely garden setting, very varied menu (we never went hungry) if your looking for a relaxing peaceful holiday then look no further and the bar is open 10.30am to 10.30pm what more could you ask for !!!!!!

We have just returned from a week at the Hotel Adelais and certainly thought we had excellent value for the money we paid, The staff were all friendly and helpful-the dining room staff all work very hard and we were never hungry-the food was nicely cooked (eat early for hot food)The room was very clean, quite large with air con, mini fridge etc. nice view from the balcony. The hotel is a homely place in a very quiet area-perfect for a relaxing break away from it all and there was a good mix of different nationalities-all very pleasant to chat with over drinks in the evenings-we agree with another reviewer that the spirits were not so good but all the other drinks-especially the beer-was very good.Excellent value and all other people we spoke with seemed to agree.

Room Tip: first floor preferred by us for views

We spent a restful - ‘re-charge the batteries’ - week in this clean friendly Hotel. The room was a good size (perfect temperature wise) and had a balcony. The bar is open 10.30am to 10.30pm for all drinks except during lunch and eve meal when beer and wine are available. This is ideal for those seeking a relaxing peaceful drift into sleep.
The review by DM - London says it quite accurately (and yes the food does blur into the same – but you won’t go hungry), with the exception of the buses. Our experience was not so good…..we waited nearly two hours for a Chania bound bus with room (one sailed straight past us ‘full’ and we assume they had cancelled another from that day’s timetable). The bus-stop closest to the hotel is No. 38 (where you get on) and returning from Chania is the second stop in Tavronitis but the driver refused to stop taking us way past. We actually had to ‘stamp’ our feet and insist they stop. Watch out at the bus station in Chania too……they are not overly friendly. Eva, the Hotel receptionist, chuckled and was not surprised by our experience.
That said, Crete is a very friendly place and the local people in the villages are delightful. We had the advantage of a rented car and so toured the Chania Prefecture area quite extensively. Eva is very friendly and a most knowledgeable person about the local area and helped us discover some amazing places…… but make sure you have a good road map, a good sense of adventure and still be prepared to ‘wing’ it. The road map and driving rules seem to be made up as you go.
A trip to Elafonitis and the obligatory wading across to the island is a must for the experience with crystal clear waters and tiny fish swimming around you. However, they were just setting up all the shade umbrellas so I can imagine in mid-season that it would be overly populated and not be such a delight.
Costs on buses or into museums are extremely good – and a pleasant surprise!
The Hotel is a perfect base to either relax around the pool or go off exploring the beaches and mountains; ideally suited to adults only or, family with young children. All the staff are friendly and very hospitable. My only gripe……we didn’t have a laundry change during our 7 day stay!
Very good value for money……I would certainly stay there again.
