The food here was very good, it is a little bit more upmarket than other tavernas, but not so relaxing, its like they are trying to hard so you dont feel so comfortable.

We ate here twice the service, food and views were all very good. The prices are almost the same in all the restaurants but the wine was a bit more expensive here than at some of the other.

Just got back from 2 weeks in Skala Kallonis. We headed off to Caprice after Trip Advisor reviews on the first night and well justified. Perfect location on the beach, even tables on the beach. They offer free subeds all day for customers which was a pleasant surprise after paying 6 euros on past holidays for 2 beds per day. Beach waitress was friendly and not pushy, and quick service.Mango mohitos are to die for. We used their sunbeds every day on the beach and had no problem with just ordering drinks but going elsewhere for breakfast/ lunch.
We had 3 evening meals there which were the best meals we had. food and presentation far surpass what you expect in Greece. Chicken al Ouzo was delicious, cigar prawns were to die for. Yanis was very proffesional, helpful and friendly.
Only negative is that wine was only served in the glass, not by caraffe which was more expensive but it was the best wine we had all holiday so worth the extra cost and we found the female evening waitress very rude. My husband has self taught himself basic greek and is fairly good but she insulted him the first night saying his greek was no good, then told him his english was no good until we complained to Yanis when she then did try to be pleasant.
I would recommend Caprice especially at the end of your holiday when you are a bit fed up up of samey meals, much as you must loved greek food as Caprice does offer a higher standard at a slightly higher price.

This was a new one for us - we've been visiting Skala Kalloni on and off for 16 years. The owners used to have the Terrae Mare, which no longer exists. The location right on the sea front is great, service good and food excellent. We're now sorted with places to eat in Skala Kallonis next year!

Chose Meze for two...fish and meat as well as lots of other traditional meze dishes. More than enough.Delicious.
Mossies out in droves that night so even had spray passed around to us all.
