Very simply a beautiful breath taking place to view the sunset, with very welcoming staff and a great selection of drinks and crepes. We would recommend you visit whilst your stay at Santorini.

Regards,

Am and Karin

We are a couple from England who stayed at the caldera view resort for 10 days from 14th-24th May. We have had an unforgetable holiday due to the amazing staff, beautiful caldera view where we enjoyed breakfast every morning and the sunset every evening and the stunning swimming pool which is easily the largest we saw in Santorini. The bus stops right outside the hotel and most days we visited oia, fira, kamari and perissa through the local buses. Very easy to access the whole island from the hotel and it was nice to be in a peaceful location away from the busy crowds of Fira. The food at the restuarant was lovely, breakfast every mornig consisted of toast, cereal, fresh fruits and anything we wanted the chef made us. We also ate there some evenings, the price is very reasonable compared with the other caldera view restaurants on the island. The pizza especially was amazing!! You have to try the "special pizza" delicious!!!
The comments below we have to disagree with, after staying for 10 nights, we do not understand the reason why these comments could have been written. The restaurant is a traditional cafe with a beautiful view (the best in the island in our opinion). Not a gourmet restaurant.
Our stay was made exceptional due to Amalia who is an absolute treasure. From the day we arrived she was fantastic. She wrote us a list of must see places which most tourists would not know about. It was also my boiyfriends birthday on our last night and she recommended a beautiful restaurant which was by far the nicest location and food we have ever experienced for a meal, the name was Metaxi Mas. You have to try it!! The staff really do make this hotel so special, and Alex the barman/waiter was very helpful and treated us like his friend throughout out stay.
We will definately return to the caldera view resort again next time we visit the beautiful Santorini. We couldnot have wished for a nicer holiday. Thankyou for a lovely stay.

We visited the restaurant which is part of the resort - despite the owner's comments below the website shows the restaurant as part of the resort. Our expectations weren't high - we stopped as we needed the break and a light snack. There was clearly a phenomenal view which drew us in.

The food & drinks were outrageously expensive. The food was near enough inedible and we left most of it. We complained and the waiter was extremely apologetic - he told us his boss wasn't very organised and hadn't set up properly for the year. We were offered free drinks but passed as we wanted to move on. We won't be back.

Unfriendly and disintersted staff, Old Decor and small rooms...Buffet for breakfast was worst i've ever had....kind of like a desert ghost town. Don't stay there unless you have a car or a ATV...otherwise you better have a scooter license or wait for the bus...whenever that comes....Pool was big but no one was there...seemed like they were doing renovation but still there was crap laying around everywhere...ok if you want to be alone...total of 8 people were staying there

The hotel is excellent located, not far from the town but away from the crowd. We loved the pool, it was very clean, big, and a very quiet place.
The staff was very friendly and the owner of the hotel was also very kind. So kind that upon our departure, finding that my husband and I were celebrating 25 years of marriage, gave us a bottle of Santorini wine, as a personal gift!
We think that washing the towels every day is kind of waste, every other day would be enough - better spend the money offering a more divers breakfast.
We would definetly recommend or choose this hotel again.
