We've just returned from a fantastic holiday in Molyvos. The hotel was lovely- fantastic views of the sea and surrounding hills and mountains. Our room was great and kept v clean. The hotel was in a great location. It is about a 20 min beautiful walk into Molyvos- we never tired of journey into the town, walking through the little fields and hills with the view of the sea and the castle in the distance. On the minus side the swimming pool area does need a bit of money spending on it as it is looking a wee bit tatty. The pool itself though is in a lovely setting. Molyvos is absolutely stunning. Ate in lots of restaurants with amazing views. Didn't eat anywhere with outstanding food though. The restaurants we'd recommend are all between the Sunrise Hotel and Eftalou. Anatolis was great with gorgeous moussaka, and further down the road Restaurant 'Eftalou' serving great zucchini pie! Fantasticos also had lovely pizza! All in all a great destination for a really calm, chilled out and peaceful holiday. A beautiful island and lovely hotel.
