We just got back from a 6 night stay at les Lauriers and can highly recommend it!! As a travel agent and visited Seychelles before we have never visited this charming little place. The food was FANTASTIC, eventhough we only ate here on New Year, as I realy wanted to experience the other restaurants in the area, just to share some feedback with clients who will be visiting Seychelles in the future -- and I am glad I did it cause I can now defnitely say Les Lauriers food was the most reasonable cost wise and the most variety and tasty food!

The hotel consist of Bungalow style... which is my personal prefference visiting an island, and was spacious rooms, spacious bathrooms, good a/c, lovely verandah, trees and bird all around you and a 5 min walk to the most beautiful beach -- and I would say the best beach on Praslin!

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and good positive energy! Edwin and Sybille work as a wonderful team together, and I would defnitely say, if you need any excursions eg. Deep sea fishing etc - Edwin prices' are the best and that personal touch just makes such a difference. I asked him kindly to take me and the family for a 40 mins on the boat so the kids could just experience a boat trip / and he managed to squeeze us in and the boat is right there 5 mins walk from the hotel.

I would highly recommend this hotel, the only downfall they dont have a pool : but they do have the biggest pool on the planet at your doorstep!!!

This was our third time in Seychelles and as a nostalgy part of our trips, we always pay visit to the places and restaurants we visited before :).....we couldn't wait to see Edwin (the owner and
a wonderful chef ),who catches (fish) and prepares the food himself. We were lucky, after 7 years, he was still there with a perfect catch of the day, prepared to be grilled to perfection :)
Once you decide to book a table you won't be dissapointed. There is a huge salad bar ready for you and hot dishes corner too. We found all salads and gratines very delicious and please don't be scared to try them all. And the best part of the bufet is ( for us) the grilled fish yummmy :)
We can't comment on pork and chicken as we haven't tried it. We came to Seychelles for fish :)

We thought the food was quite good, there was really a variety of creole dishes with all the octopus curries, coconut chicken curry, shark chutneys, mango chutneys just to name a few but it was really not worth the money. Food was good but the most expensive ive encountered ever. If i had the money i would go there again but there are other places around praslin to get delicious creole food at better prices. Everywhere on Praslin cooks good creole food!

Creol buffet with fresh and very tasty food. The lighting is cosy and the ambiance very warm.
Good selection of wines.
Definite must when visiting Praslin.

It doesn't come really cheap (400 rupees, or 24 euro's per person, without tax), but this buffet is one of the best we had in the Seychelles. It is a good way of tasting various Creol dishes. It gave us the opportunity to finally taste shark, without having to order an complete meal of shark.
