We went there and we decided to leave and not eat, the waitress was so rude since we arrived. We tried to order some fish and chips but as we weren't kids we couldn't have it. Also we were going to have some milk shakes as well but we preferred to cancel our order due to the bad attitude of the people working at the restaurant.

Cafe des Arts is a very well managed Restaurant on the Island of Praslin. The entire decor is amazing for a remote Island. Thfood is very well prepared and delicious; makes for a great dining experience. I would like to thank "'Alexandra" her excellent customer service and friendly conversation. I would also like to thank the entire staff of Cafe des Arts, including the the guitarist and piano player for adding to an enjoyable and memorable dining experience... Don't forget to visit the "Chill Out" tapas bar up stairs after your awesome dinner... This place cannot be missed!!!

Had dinner here few times and there is no consistency at all, it can vary from average to great. However with the price paid, average experience turns into terrible. Service is a little bit better than everywhere in Seychelles.

very nice place to have a meal or just a snack or milkshake (they are delicious!), right at the beach - the view is lovely! lots of seats available, food is tasty, the service is friendly - definitely worth a visit!

Please be aware of that place!
The food is so low quality, too expensive and the service is really bad. The restaurant offers you the free pick up and back from the hotel. Sometimes they can decide to not take you back to the hotel as they did with us, and we have found ourself alone at the unknown place at 23:00 walking few kilometers and looking for our hotel.
We ate there once and the food was awful. We ordered sushi and the octopus pumpkin for starters and the grilled lobster and the curry calmari with fish. All of the dishes were very low quality and not tasty. The sushi was like homemade and so simple, the octopus was chewy and not eatable. The lobster was full of oil, dry and overcoocked. The calmari at the curry were chewy as well. We just tryied the main dishes (the lobster and the calmari curry) and asked to give it back. The restaurant decided to charge us for them, despite we didn't eat them, cause we touched them (of course, how could we know that they are so bad?). We asked not to pay for them, but the main waitress told that she will not charge us only for one of the dishes, but not for both of them. We agreed to pay only for those dishes we ate, so they alert us to call the police and we did agree to call them. The police didn't come so they gave us a new bill and just refused to take us back to the hotel. Very bad and dissappointing experience.
