Seafood and epicurean dishes are the main attractions, making the restaurant the address not to be missed. The art is in the attention to detail and the fresh ingredients served to perfection with refined service and a touch of class. By day it is a sophisticated yet relaxed beach dining experience and by night the whole atmosphere transforms into a chic and elegant high-class restaurant with a sumptuous decor. We have had one dinner and one quick lunch at this restaurant. We have loved the amazing options and the quality of feed provided. Venue is relaxed and outdoors with an indoor seating also available. We have preferred to sit outside by the beach. Staff is friendly and professional. We did not find the prices neither expensive nor cheap. If we ever go Praslin Island again we will for sure make a return visit to this restaurant.

“Outstanding”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 24, 2014

We ate here numerous times despite being on half board at our own hotel. The food was amazing, great choice and fantastic service, they are aiming for proper silver service and despite falling a little shy of this is was very close!
It was a bit expensive compared to some of the others near by but well worth the extra, not over priced. Great choice of wines and the cocktails were well made too.
I would suggest not going half board at your hotel and going here for dinner!
Do book up as it can be full.

“Elegant and classy”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 27, 2014

We only had dinner at Café des Arts because of a recommendation by a young Swiss couple and we were not disappointed. We don't normally visit the more expensive restaurants but this was definitely worth the money we paid . The food was 'exquisite' as the Swiss girl had described it and the service was excellent. Anyone who thinks that the restaurant is 'pretentious' perhaps does not fit the above description although we would have preferred to have started dinner earlier than 7.30 p.m.

“Excellent meals at a price”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 17, 2014

It's not easy to find, but once you reach the place you will admire the quite unique setting direct on the beach decorated with arts objects. The service is extremely attentive, the food is artfully presented and the fish dishes we had were excellent prepared in creole style.
The wine list is quite long, but be prepared to pay from EUR 40 for a bottle of wine. You will also struggle to find a main course below EUR 30.

“Birthday dinner”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 15, 2014 via mobile

A bit Peeved on arrival that my bud & I had shorts on, albeit tailored shorts, on a very hot humid evening & had to return to our hotel to change so be warned, having been told off like naughty school boys.
So, on our return, G&T in hand we ordered, sat, & duly were served our entrees, we instantly forgot about our earlier misdemeanours, food served on all courses was spot on, the extras inbetween courses made for a most memorable dining experience & was fondly spoken of the next day.
Well done to you all, a really nice birthday evening experience, & thank you for decorating the table.
