Description: The ultimate in fine dining Set right on the beach, the Cafe des Arts Restaurant has earned its reputation as the best restaurant in Seychelles by creating outstanding mouth-watering dishes served in the most amazing setting. Seafood and epicurean dishes are the main attractions, making the restaurant the address not to be missed. The art is in the attention to detail and the fresh ingredients served to perfection with refined service and a touch of class. By day it is a sophisticated yet relaxed beach dining experience and by night the whole atmosphere transforms into a chic and elegant high-class restaurant with a sumptuous decor. Cafe des Arts is synonymous with gastronomy at its finest. The "Blue Octopus Bar" serves cocktails and other drinks. NOTE: Children under the age of 5 are not permitted.

A wonderful spot right on the beach (Cote d'Or). The view, atmosphere and time of day we went there was just perfect. The food was very good too, both my husband and I had the lobster with vanilla cream sauce and it was YUM!!

This was a lovely restaurant right on the beach, but screened by trees. The food was excellent, if the portions were perhaps a little large. The staff were really friendly and the 'Arts' theme made it more interesting. The restaurant reminded me of several we visited last year on the gold coast of Barbados - the price here matching the best of them! It was our best meal during our stay on Praslin but we would not have been able to afford to eat here every night!

The restaurant fulfills and exceeds all expectations. It started with a pick-up service from our hotel with a very nice saloon car. The restaurant is close to the see, not too large and with a cozy and chic atmosphere. The menu offers all kinds of interesting local as well as international dishes. The food is absolutely fresh. We had 3 starters and 3 main dishes and every single choise was excellent. Moreover we witnessed a great service standard on a level like zou might know it from high standard european restaurants. Thus is was even more suprising that the owner is from the Seychelles.
This restaurant is a must if you want to have a great evening with excellent food. The price is very reasonable.
It was so good that we will go there a second time during our stay.

The lunch menu did not have many choices. We tried the curry with chicken and shrimps (320 scr) with soda water (48 scr). It was good, but not worth the price compared to other Seychell restaurants making lunch curry. Tasty coffee (60 scr), nice view. 940 scr total.

Been there once for dinner and it kind of disappointing after all the ad's we've heard about it ( as best service and sea-food place) Service is really good and place is nicely designed, but honestly the food is kind of bad , esp if to take into consideration that we have ordered sea-food plate and all sea-food was not fresh (frozen) there And we paid 200 $ for dinner without wine (for frozen food....) Is not as good as we thought, so was quite disappointing and didn't met our expectations... Wouldn't recommend it- expensive and not tasty.View on the beach. Also have transfer to/from our hotel for free.
