Adelina Lombardi 36, Rome
Me and my family (my husband my 2 angels) stayed at the Mandraki Village in Skiathos from 21st till 29th August 2011 and we could not have asked for better vacation moments.
A charming boutique hotel, with great combinations: luxurious services, contemporary facilities and children paradise with extensive services for them .
The staff was very kind, helpful and polite throughout the holiday and that is an important thing for me when I am on vacations, especially with my children.
Except Mandraki, I would like to say that the food in Skiathos was amazing. Our favorite place to eat was Lyhnari in Skiathos Hora. Nice atmosphere, great stuff, delicious Greek food. Elia restaurant, Mandraki’s restaurant was also a great choice for dinner.
All in all we had dreamy summer moments in Skiathos, Greece and if we return to Skiathos, we are definitely going to stay at Mandraki Village!

Mandraki Village is a little heaven within the paradise of Skiathos island.
For us this was the ideal setting because the hotel consists in a private little “residence”, (indeed a Village) in the best part of the island offering “more than a sleep” but a friendly complex right next ti the best beach of the island Koukounaries.

First of all the receptionist who showed us our room was simply an angel and she would do anything to make us feel really on holiday and welcomed.

Our suite was very, very comfortable with a nice a relaxing decoration of pastel colours, modern yet very warm. I personally enjoyed a lot the bathroom’s display and the opening of the terrace directly on the lush gardens.

Breakfast was our best next to the pool in the middle of the gardens, but we truly have to congratulate the French chef of Elia restaurant for the delicious food. The Elia restaurant is cosy. And we had one excellent evening there.

We visited Mandraki Village during the month of August as stayed for 3 nights
This was our first time on Skaithos island and for sure not the last, at Mandraki for sure.

Room Tip: Suites are excellent

Very pretty place especially with its colourful and well looked after gardens. The shower is exceptionally large and very comfortable though couldn't really say much about the too firm bed. Beautiful beaches especially Koukounaries with its glittering sand and others within walking/bus distance not to be missed - ideal location for some peace and quiet and able to have town's spirit at nights. Elia's serves very generous greek salad - whole slab of feta cheese!

We stayed at the Mandraki for 2 weeks from 26.8.2011. I had looked at the hotel for sometime on the internet and couldn't believe how beautiful it looked and we were not disappointed when we arrived, it even looked better than the photos on line.
We stayed in the pink block room 607, it was small but clean and our balaony was not over looked (some of them were very close together to the adjoining room.)
The food in the resturant was a very high standard, we eat at a few other places but decided we were better eating at the Hotel as, food we got else where was ok at best and sometimes just too salty. The hotel offer 10% discount for eating at the hotel so worked out really good value, for such lovely food.

Eve on Receiption is a absolute delight, always helpful and smiling, the boys running the bar were entertaining , happy and brilliant service. The resturant needed some more staff, but the head waiter, although rushed off his feet, always made time to have a chat and wish us a pleasant meal.

The breakfast was brilliant, we spent an hour eating all the lovely fruit and cooked breakfast.

We would recommend that you stay here if you are going to Skiathos, it is the best Hotel on the island , we walked every day to Mandraki beach, which took about half an hour through the forest, the walk was enjoyable and the beach was lovely and the beach bar, did lovely fruit and yogurt.

All in all a delightful Island, beautiful beaches, and a Fantastic Hotel with lovely staff!!!!

We stayed at Mandraki for a week at the beginning of Sepember 2011. The location of this hotel was perfect for us nearby to beautiful beaches and approximately a 25 minute bus journey into the town or a 15 minute taxt ride for around 15 euros. The swimming pool area and bar were fantastic with gorgeous gardens. The staff that we dealt with were mainly very friendly and helpful and the service was great. For the breakfast there was a vast selection, I would advise to get down earlier as sometimes when we got down later it wasn't as fresh. Elia's restaurant was fantastic, we dined in there twice and it was beautiful- the waiter in there was particularly helpful and knowledgeable advising us which wine would go best. Both meals were really high standards - could not fault it. The half price cocktails were also a winner for myself. The room that we had- I believe it was a standard double was possibly a little on the smaller side but was perfectly fine. We also ate at the Windmill restaurant during our stay and we were lucky enough to sit on the honeymoon table- it was an amazing meal with the most fantastic views. The food was beautiful, we both had fillet steak and I would definately recommend going there if you are visiting Skiathos.!! A brilliant hotel, that we both thoroughly enjoyed!

My husband and I have just been to the Mandraki Village Boutique Hotel, bed and breakfast and had an absolutely wonderful week. We have NOTHING bad to say about the hotel. The room was fabulous, the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, it was in a brilliant location, the pool was perfect, what more can we say. The room was cleaned to a high standard every day, clean white fluffy towels left every day. The breakfasts were sooooo good, everything you could think of and we sat outside in shade to eat every morning. We will definitely HAVE to return!!!!! AND Skiathos is a wonderful island, the beaches are fabulous, hire a car/jeep and travel to them all!!!! WISH WE WERE STILL THERE.

Have just returned from the mandraki and found it to be the best accomodation we have ever stayed in while in Greece, rooms are lovley very clean and great bathrooms.Have stayed in Skiathos many times but by far the best accomodation we have ever found on the island.Staff are friendly and happy to help with anything you require and bar and pool area are great. The restaurant really must be tried as probably the best food on Skiathos, and not expensive either so people should try it as highly recommended.
