“Stunning Hotel in a Beautiful Setting with Wonderful Friendly Staff”
Reviewed September 16, 2012

The Panorama really is stunning, immaculate, beautiful decor in the bedrooms and throughout the Hotel, great location, short walk to Koukounaries Beach which is a must to visit, and a short bus ride to Skiathos Harbour which is very vibrant and beautiful and the bus stop is just outside the Hotel. Dina, Appollo and all of their family who run this Hotel are the friendliest, warmest people I have ever met and work so hard and always with a SMILE ! From checking in we felt like part of their family, not just guests. Food in the restaurant is first class and there is lots of variety on the menu to suit all palletes : ) A special 'Thank You' to Mary who services the bedrooms and every day does a different fabulous shape with the top cover, which my daughter tried to copy every day! Mary is a zany, bubbly blonde, great personality.

A short walk from the Hotel is the Augustera Bar, great music and great hosts in Dino and Effie who manage it.

The bus trip into Skiathos takes about 20 to 30 minutes and is an experience, but a good one as the conductor just shouts out numbers of bus stops and Panorama is Number 25, but the views through the trees as you are driving to the Port are breathtaking. Lots of eateries and fabulous bars there where you can sit and watch the world go by. When there, you can imagine being in the Mamma Mia film, or even go on the Mamma Mia trip, which we didn't but noticed the boat was packed with people going over to see the locations it was filmed in.

To refer again to the Panorama, we would highly recommend this beautiful Hotel and know once you have visted it and this stunning Island you will want to return. Thank you again to Dina and all of her family for making our stay so very, very special.

The staff of this boutique hotel trully cares for the customers and have a genuine smile on their faces. The Location of Panorama is excellent , only a short walk away from the famous Koukounaries beach or the party beach of Banana , the Agia Eleni beach for the sofisticated tourist and Ampelakia beach. In addition the hotel has a very good restaurant and several other good restaurants near by. Some rooms have views to Lake Strofilia

Room Tip: Room 43 is probably one of the best options

what a beautiful hotel, greece as you know is very basic bit not this hotel.the beds are the best i have slept in on the greek islands.spotlessly clean&comfortable.air con is very good too.it is very well positioned&the food is excellent as well, but you have to go out &try different restaraunts, but dont go to GEORGES down the road it looks welcoming from the outside but its the strangest taverna ive been in you have to pay for your meal before you get it&you told to read the 1st page of the menu like school children very patronising they certainly took our eyes out.Would eo go back to the panarama yes we would but not straight away as we like to travel to different countries&different greek islands. You just have to read the other reviews we all cant be wrong its a little gem.

The best asset of this hotel is the stuff, very nice and very helpful. It is a family business and they are really good at it. I've been to Greece 2 times before and I thought that Greeks are tired and bored with so many tourists - but this is not the case here at Panorama Hotel (and in Skiathos in general).
Another very good aspect of this hotel is the location in Koukounaries with relatively easy access (by foot) at no less than 9 beaches (all in a walk distance between 5 and 40 minutes).
Of course we continue the "plus" list with the rooms which are very elegant and daily cleaned.
There is nothing outstanding on the negative side. Only the "traditional" imperfections that I find in most of the Mediterranean hotels related to the breakfast and sleeping quality. I'll take them one by one.
Breakfast - although good enough, not perfect. The worst coffee, the most artificial orange juice, the poorest cereals quality and the weirdest milk (which most of the people there seemed to consume them). But overall nobody left hungry after breakfast, I very much enjoyed the very fresh eggs, the cheese and tomatoes, the fruits, the pastry. So the variety is big enough so everybody can be happy after all (btw, the coffee at the bar outside is much better).
About the sleeping quality, first you should know that I'm an extremely sensitive sleeper, I wake up at any noise. In my entire life I only found 2 or 3 hotels with such good phonic isolation so I could sleep like a baby. At Panorama Hotel, although there was no excessive noise (most of the quest are quiet and not with small babies) there is still a lot of noise from the hallway or tangent rooms. A remark here, the stuff was so incredibly nice they even talk to the cleaning lady so she will be more careful and quite when she will clean around my door (at 6 AM in the morning) so she will not wake me up anymore. Thanks for that!
I mostly insisted on the negative parts so you can understand how small they are, there is no other negative surprise that will wait for you there, so go ahead and book a room at this hotel until is not too late (the hotel is always full).

Just returned from our week in Skiathos at the wonderful Panorama hotel. The hotel itself was spotlessly clean, the food was both delicious and resonably priced, the rooms were very stylish and the pool a welcome relief from the glorious sunshine. However the thing I would recommend this hotel on the most is the staff who were so helpful, caring and fun - nothing was too much trouble for them and the standard of service was exceptional. I only hope we are able to return in the future.

Room Tip: They are all lovely

We have just returned from a weeks holiday staying at the PANORAMA HOTEL and what a lovely little hotel, if you want a clean, comfortable place to stay then you won't go wrong booking this hotel, we had breakfast every day which was a little limited choice wise, but there was nothing wrong with it, the room we had was very nice, really comfortable bed and soft pillows ( 3rd time in skiathos, 1st time we've had soft pillows), the bathroom is a bit on the small side but has everything you need, the hairdryer isn't great so i would take my own next time, all in all we had a great time and will be staying here again next time we come to skiathos, i must also say the family that run this hotel are great and so helpful, they made our holiday even more enjoyable.

I asked my girlfriend to find us a holiday and she found the panorama and on paper it looked perfect.Well after a 2 week stay,i must say it was perfect in every way possible, except for the lack of greek dancing from appollo and mario after a few beers of a night. But appollo promised me if i came early in the season next year when he,s fresh we can get on a mad one and have a laugh. The rooms are modern and cleaned every day and staff are great,If your looking for a chilled holiday and great food, then this is the place. This hotel is a little gem and everything you need is only a short walk away, food, bars and shops and beach.Ive been a regular to corfu and the food of skiathos is a different class and everything is man size. I did notice a bad review about a few things, but if i finished work at 1am and was up at 6am the last place you would find me during the day would be behind a reception desk,if something was needed then let it be known to someone and chill by the pool,it will get done in the end. Could go on for ages but belive me its great. First 2 weeks in june 13 paul and black sambuca bev will be back for more.

Room Tip: Not telling what room i had because you might book it,but it was great
