Brilliant. Slightly more expensive - about €3-5 more per dish, but worth a lot more. Great atmosphere sitting at the pink and white tables. My wife called it the Greek Master Chef. The restaurant sits above the reception for Mandraki Village Hotel accessed by a white wooden bridge. Best to book a table the night before or in reception below (several families walked away last night as they didn't want to wait). Good selection of kids meals - several families where there on the nights we went. Jack had the slow cooked lamb from the main menu at €16. Very modern decor with clean toilets.

This was the best looking restaurant people called it the runway because it was lite up all the way down a pathway. We thought the food was excellent family run the children liked to help set the tables and clear up at the end of the night so we gave them our tip

Elia's is a combinatIon of Greek and International cuisine , prepared by Jonve the aThens trained chef ( who incidentally also runs cooking classes at Ergonomic which are well worth attending). The atmosphere of the restaurant with the pink and white colors is very pleasing and comfortable to sit in. The food was probably the best we had during our 5 week stay on the island - there is just some panache in the way the recipes have been devised and food presented and the service was top notch. This is Greek food with a twist and most enjoyable, well worth the trip to Koukanaries. Despite the good quality the prices were reasonable.

It was the sort of food you would see on Masterchef but with a greek style! No chips!!! The foods was very nicely cooked and presented and there was a good choice. The staff were very helpful if you didn't know what something was. It was very modern and while we were there we went and had a look at the hotel attached, and decided if we come back to Skiathos this is where we will stay.

Elia's restaurant is part of the Mandraki Village Hotel. I visited with my daughters and it felt very "posh"! However we were made very welcome and treated well. The food was excellent and although it was one if the more expensive meals we had it was good value as we had a thoroughly enjoyable time. I would recommend and one of my girls went back on Sunday for a roast dinner... I know go to Greece for a Sunday Roast
