We stayed 1 night visiting Corfu. The location is perfect and the hotel is very nice. The breakfast was a lot and very good. The beach is very nice. The hotel is old and needs a good renovation and it will be the best

We were looked after by the staff who attended our needs well. The location is good as it is near to Corfu Town as long as you don't mind aeroplanes! Good food...nice sea water pool. Rooms were fine. We had a good deal for this hotel and def got our £ worth. So if you get a good deal-go for it.

My partner and I stayed at the corfu holiday palace from the 11th June - 18th June. It was a return visit as we stayed last year and the holiday was amazing so we wanted to return But this time it was a stay to remember. As we checked in the manager at reception told us that our room was not ready yet and would we be able to wait a while for it. He told us it was room 707, We didn't mind as we has been before, so we knew the area. But then all of a sudden the manager told us a room was available room 749 we queried him but he said that was the original room??? As we went to the room the lifts we a nightmare one was not working it took us ages to get to our room. When we entered our room it was substandard compared to the room we had previously, there was dirt all over the floor the plastics were all yellow the balcony door was broken there was a huge gap at the top so that meant we could hear the planes very clearly. The tv aerial was also broken so we struggled with tv. The wifi was awful rarely worked. The safe in the room now apparently have to be paid for but surprisingly ours was broken. I felt like room 749 was a reserve room. We felt that the bar staff in the kefi bar were very good as most nights there were only 2 of them manning a very busy bar. We got accused of not being guests at the hotel one evening over dinner we felt very annoyed at this. We went back to our room and settled for the night. In the middle of the night we had a lovely experience of bats in our room that had obviously been living in there as the initial dirt in the room was bat poo!! On day 5 we got moved rooms because if the bat incident. When we checked out the receptionist didn't even offer to call us a taxi she was rude and unhelpful. Not a 5* avoid

Lovely hotel, great staff, good location. Lots to see and explore - hired an MTB from http://www.mountainbikecorfu.gr/ Costas will look after you!
Our room had a great seaview and was well furnished with good aircon.
Dining was a treat with great selection, beautiful fish in particular and very attentive staff.
Great bars overlooking the airstrip for the evening and the causeway was a great route to the hills for riding the MTB. Loved Ag. Deka in particular.
Walking ino town was approx 40 mins and loved stopping off at Cafe Central on the way home - great local atmosphere and really friendly locals.
Bowling alley is superb especially wit the free bowling with a drink after 8pm. Watched last week of TdF there - great ride Chris Froome.
Great buses too - only 1.50 into town.

I stayed in this hotel at the beggining of August and i was very disappointed in the overall conditions. Staff at the frond desk was really boored and gave us no information upon arrival, we had to ask the questions. This hotel is rated 5 stars but in reality it`s a 3 star maximum. Room not very clean, rust in the bathroom, stains on the drapes and on the bed sheets. Wifi never worked although they advertise it to be free. Breakfast very poor in choice and the same everyday. Elevators going crazy on their own and taking you to a whole other floor then the button you pushed. Funny smell on the 7th floor in the hallway, smelled like dusty carpets all the time. The hotel is located very close to the Corfu airport and runway, few hundred meters and the airplanes landing and taking off will drive you crazy. They start at 4 am in the morning. All in all a very overpriced and overrated hotel. Dissapointing experience.

Room Tip: Rooms very noisy due to airport traffic located a few hundred meters away from the hotel.

We stayed for a week in July'13 at this wonderful friendly staffed hotel. Even tough the lifts need to be changed as only two of them were working & rooms need refurbishment, I must say that we truly enjoyed the stay, the friendly staff & the incredible food :) Additionally one can enjoy a lovely view overlooking the pool, sea & airplanes landing......well an amazing experience in all :)

I completely agree with Shellymaisiemoo. Stay away from this hotel. If we were to stay for more than one night only, we would definitely have left the hotel although we had a prepaid deal.
The attached photo of the air condition remote says it all.
