The hotel is not a modern luxury hotel, but an old elegant one. What keeps it interesting is view of the water from the hotel and the extremely friendly and helpful staff.
First class service and efficient staff on all levels can't think of one thing to complain about. Fabulous view from the balcony, large en suite, The overall cleanliness was excellent.
The pool was lovely and clean, plenty of clean beach towels provided by the hotel and comfortable loungers a plenty, the pool bar and food were without fault, the food in general was fantastic with a wide and varied choice. We enjoyed the cocktails in the bar area too with a live music every day.
We particularly enjoyed the beach we spent many an hour messing about in the sea or reading under a shady sun longer.
The breakfast was great as well.
I loved the location which was only 5 minutes from the town area.
If you want to relax and be pampered this is the place.

I was on honeymoon with my wife, we have visited Corfu holiday palace this April last week , we had great time eating a lot the fantastic food at the restaurant which was on buffet with many choises ! The room was spacious with amazing views on the ocean . I dont care what the other people are saying. We had really good time actually spending few money as the Hotel is a great Value for money, these holidays didnt cost much as we cannot afford it but for what we paid was really good.
The staff was friendly and very helpful at the service especially Eleni and George .
We were welcomed warmly from reception desk and we met Maria as well with who we contacted with the e-mail .
Thank you very much for everything it was a great start for our wedding . We hope to see you soon againand this time with our new babies to play at your playground.Aloha!!!

Zoinks... what a place!!! My expectations of a 5* hotel are clearly miles apart from the other positive reviewers!!!
Bedroom overlooking the car park - we booked a garden view and when we complained we were told that the room was exactly what we requested.... an overgrown balcony fronting on to the car park... YES that is what I wanted exactly!!!!
Minibar???? A mini fridge on the floor... empty... we had to put a jumper over it at night to stop the whole room from being illuminated!
Bedding.... a sheet and a brown scratchy blanket.... Had to request an extra scratchy blanket from housekeeping to warm up. Now I don't care what ANYONE says... a sheet and a brown scratchy blanket is not 5*
Indoor pool was cold... The gym (!!!) was some beaten up machines on the pool side.
Spa facilities had to be paid for... 10 euros for a sauna!!!!!
Food.... Greek food is notoriously luke warm and vile.... this was no exception... plenty of it and ok if you were starving... fine dining this was not! Drinks expensive... not for a quality hotel but for this place were exorbitant!!

I could go on and on.... but hey.... If you have booked this place at a bargain... that's what you'll get.
Will get into trouble for this but.... full of package families... tattoos, loud voices, bagging sunbeds at the crack of dawn, drunks rolling down stairs... low budget....
This is NOT a five star place by any stretch of the imagination.

I have added some photos to the page which will reveal the true HORROR of the Holiday 'Palace'.

Make your own minds up.... but PLEASE don't book for a romantic holiday, honeymoon or anything special.... unless 3* is your version of 5*.

Dear Saratones,

We are very sorry that we did not met your expectations, it is inevitable to get critic and guest feedback is always welcome and valuable to our Hotel.

Once you where at the hotel we have discussed several times that the room type you have booked was the standard basic room and that in case you wish to upgrade a room type there is a price difference and you are welcome to upgrade should you wish . We are unable to provide free upgrades to guests especially when we are threatened for negative reviews as it is against hotel’s policy and ethics.

All guests are equally treated and respected by the Hotel . Our official Category by the Greek Low is 5* , and we do not accept any characterizations of the above mentioned as it offends the Hotel, the staff and the other reviewers who do top rate this Corfu Holiday Palace, We held a reputation to Corfu island and Greek Tourism for the last 40 years, we have guests who are repeaters for many and many years and such comments are offensive to them as well.

The hotel offers a wide range of facilities and services, a private beach accessible by an inclined elevator, a health club with indoor heated pool (28oc during winter October to April ) , shops, an outdoor swimming pool with a shallow end suitable for children, multiple bars, a four lane bowling alley and two tennis courts amongst others. It is unfortunate that none was to your liking.

Regarding the prices which you mention to be expensive , is expensive the beer for 2.50 euro ? is expensive the cocktail for 5 euro? Are expensive the soft drinks for 2.5 euro ? Expensive comparing to what ? Also please be informed that the spa facilities all around the world in case you don’t travel are payable extra and are not included in the Half Board accommodation.

Feedback is always welcome to assist us to improve our standards and services , We hope you visit our Beautiful island again in the future. Our Best wishes to your wedding and a Happy marriage.

I stayed at this hotel for second time 4 days at the Easter.I reserved a lake view room in high floor with nice view of Kanon full of trees and flowers, airport and lake Halikiopoulou.Noise from airport it's not a big thing at least at April.Reception and room service were efficient and polite.Breakfast was delicious with many choices and local touch. So where is the negative point? The total lack of proper cleaning in the room and bathroom, the same dirty towel for 4 days, obsolete blankets, ameneties without refilling and of course dust everywhere and at everything ruined my previous impression for this hotel only 4 months before.I believe that room division manager must take action before its to late.I worked in 5 star hotel and i know that this level of housekeeping is totally unacceptable.

We have spent our Easter Holidays at Corfu Holiday Palace in Corfu Greece and we had really great holidays with our family.
Thank you all for making our vacations so special, the personel is very friendly especially reception staff . The room was very comfortable. We have paid the standard room well it was not like the sea view upper floors however we had a very good deal and quite cheap so it didn't matter as all the hotel is amazing.
The pools , the restaurant, the food everything great.
We have read about the latin parties but didn't take place while we were on sight however we had really great time !
We will be back in October !

Visited Corfu 30th March - 6th April 2012. Having read the reviews previously we were not expecting 5 star accommodation and had telephoned to ensure our room would not be a disappointment upon arrival. Checking in was friendly and efficient, reception area was welcoming and as advertised, however our room was quite dowdy and tired looking and having pre requested double bed and single for our daughter, was disappointed to find twin beds and put-up. This room barely came up to 4 star standard. We made our feelings felt with reception and were offered a non sea view room with double bed for the evening and assured something would be sorted out in the morning as there was not a suitable room available that evening. We opted to stay where we were and following discussions in the morning we were moved to a large two bedroomed, two bathroomed bungalow with sea view and large garden. The hotel generally was tired and although on our first day, still in low season, the lift to the beach didn't work, the beach bar wasn't open and the outside pool was empty. By day three all of these were in working order. The staff at the hotel were extremely helpful and on occasion when we had to request anything, we were met with a very efficient and friendly service. Overall this hotel is definitely over priced and does not compare in anyway with other five star hotels we have stayed at, however we had a lovely holiday and the staff made up for what the hotel was lacking.

Room Tip: Request high floor sea facing

Dear Mrs. Stephanie,

Thank you posting your comments on Trip Advisor . We are happy to hear that you have been welcomed by reception staff efficiently and we have met your expectations concerning the service .

Our staff strives daily to maintain hotel’s service quality standards and are very pleased to read that you have found all our team helpful and friendly. You have been accommodated as per our records to the room type booked however in order to upgrade a room type is subjected to hotel’s availability and the hotel was fully booked up on your arrival date. We are very pleased that we have managed to short it out and that you have enjoyed your stay at the Bungalow room which was actually quite spacious. Please be informed that most of the hotel’s rooms have twin beds, in case you require a double room , we may set them up together like a double as our aim is to try to satisfy always our guests.

Regarding the beach bar and the outside pool please be informed that are operating subjected to the weather , we are unable to operate the Beach bar or the outside pool during a rainy day. All outlets are in full operation during sunny days and all the summer season however the heated indoor pool is available always for our guests especially when the weather is bad.

We are looking forward to welcome you again ,please feel free to contact me direct in order to arrange your reservation personally at my e-mail, should you wish to come back at Corfu Holiday Palace mioannidou@corfuholidaypalace.gr

Myself and my partner have just arrived back from a week at this hotel and we where very dissapointed!! Arrived at our hotel and where really pleased as it looked really nice all marble and definatley looked 5 star! After checking in went to our room, well what can I say?! We paid for a 5 star garden view but instead got a little box room with a view that over looked a sewer and the car park, no mini bar which the booking confirmation said and tv that kept loosing signal! The shower in the bathroom wasn't working propally and as the shower floor was all marble with no shower mat this was very dangerous for me as I am 6 months pregnant!! After having a shower the bathroom floor got soaked and slippy as the shower curtain wasn't very long and every time the toilet got flushed it made a annoying sound for ages afterwards! We decided to go and have a look round the hotel and near by area and honestly the whole place was like a ghost town!! All the gardens of the hotel where overgrown and lot of the hotels facillities where closed which I thought was very strange as it was coming up to the Greeks Easter weekend, pool area also looked very tatty! In the Kanoni area there are only a couple of bars and restaurants, though I can say Captain Georges is a really great place to eat!! Not really much else to do in the area!! You can get a bus into Corfu town where there are lots of shops and places to eat, very expensive though! We did really enjoy the food at the hotel as there is always a variety to eat and as much as you like :) All in all though I would not reccomend this Hotel to anybody and we sadly will not be visiting Corfu again. Oh and one last thing do not get washing done at the hotel as they charge you a ridiculous price!!

Dear Mrs. Georgina L,

Thank you for taking the time to post your comment on Tripadvisor. It is nice to read that the hotel’s lobby was to your liking however it is unfortunate that you had to face several issues with the room.

At first i would like to point out that we always try our best to assist our guests and resolve on spot every problem may occur during their stay .We are a hotel of 256 rooms and the maintenance team is working hard daily to ensure that guests spent a problem free and relaxing stay with us. We would appreciate if you have contacted reception during your stay in order to report the issues raised for us to resolve immediately or change you a room in case that may require time to be fixed.

The twin Garden Room is the hotel’s basic room type and is located in the lower floors or the ground floors , in the higher floors are the Superior Lake View rooms and the Deluxe Sea view rooms. The hotel is set in magnificent landscaped gardens /45000 sq. m./ with an abundance of pine- eucalyptus and cypress trees, well maintains its prominent position amongst Corfu’s top hotels.

During March and April most of the time the weather is rainy and windy and we are unable to open the Beach Bar and the pool Bar. However there is the indoor heated pool , the Kefi Bar , the “Eptanisa” restaurant ,the Sushi Bar , the bowling centre and the Health Club available and opened.
It is disheartening to hear that you will no longer visit again Corfu , as the island is beautiful.
However should you wish to reconsider and visit Corfu again we will be pleased to welcome you back and you may rest assured that we will try our best to offer you memorable Holidays .
