Spending our second holiday in Stegna we cound not miss this nice place to have some sea creatures. We started with restaurant baked bread with an kalamata olive tapenade and excellent dry tomatoes, followed with fried zucchini flowers stuffed with feta cheese. Then we had one grilled octopus and one local octopus meal - small peaces of octopus in red wine sauce. The grilled animal was a bit tough, but we have been told this kind of a dish is better to eat as a "meze", cut fine slices of meat eaten with glass of wine or spirit. Poor ocotpus is sun dried before entering the kitchen - you can see them hanging around the village during the the day.
The "local" dish - octopus in red wine sauce - was excellent! All washed down with local wine.
Staff was very friendly and smiling. Thanks for a nice evening.
