Coriva Village, is a great hotel! The best! As it is a little up on the hill it has the most beautiful views. It also offers a lovely, well kept garden, a super swimming pool and great food.
We stayed in a big and clean family room, which offered everything we needed.
We felt very relaxed in Coriva Village.
The walk to the sea is about five minutes. Back it takes a little longer, maybe ten minutes, but then you can jump in the pool as a reward.
Nice touch: we arrived late at night and found diner and a bottle of fresh water in our room. We felt very welcome.
Thank you everyone in Coriva Village, we will definitely come back to your very nice place! Eva, Julian, Elize

The hotel is located in a village 10mins outside Ierapetra. You will need to have a car in order to make most of it as there are nice beaches appx. 30 mins east and west of the hotel. There are shops around the hotel although there is no nightlife around it. The hotel itself is next to a very nice beach. The bungalows are located in a very well looked after garden about 30 meters from the sand. The rooms are comfortable with TV and A/C and clean. Getting a bungalow might be better. Avoid rooms in the main building overlooking the road. The accommodation includes breakfast and dinner where you can try local cuisine. However if you are looking for more than 'house' meals you will need to visit the local tavernas. Wifi is available at a cost, something that i found unacceptable. Staff is very friendly abd welconing. definitely recommended.

This hotel is worth a lot more than it looks. Food at dinner and breakfast is fantastic. They didn't try to impress with traditional dishes but they offered real local food from top quality ingredients. All the staff was very friendly as if we had stayed before. The room and all the establishment was very clean. We stayed at room 420 (bungalow). Magnificiend view. A bit windy some times but we quite enjoyed it. The beach in front of the hotel is very well organised (umbrellas, shower, taverna etc.) We will come back.

Room Tip: Ask for a bungalow room

Stayed there in early August of 2009. The accomodation was nice and clean, although the bathroom was (as in many cases with greek hotels in the islands) rather small. The pool was very nice and clean, and not used too much by the guests who usually prefer to go to any of the numerous great beaches that are facing the south of Crete. There is a nice garden in front of the accomodation and near the pool.

Breakfast was rather rich in its offerings, but there was no change from day to day, so it got a bit repetitive after some days. Dinner is also served by the pool, but we have no comments to make as we did not try this during our stay.

I would suggest trying to book direct with the hotel, we did that by calling the hotel and they offered better rates than what we found on the internet.

Overall a good hotel which offered relaxation... Would definitely stay again if in the area.
