Stayed at Salmon Bake for 3 night with our 2 teenaged daughters. Pleasantly surprised of the how comfortable the tent cabins were. Decent beds with linens and towels. Bathrooms were outside but clean and the showers were great. Food was awesome. Have been telling friends all ablout it and would recommend for those looking for a place to stay at a reasonable price.

We stayed in a tent cabin. Very clean, plenty of room, extremely comfortable beds and bedding. Only downside is that the shared bathrooms include the shared showers so you may have to wait or bit, or run down to the restaurant. Friendly and helpful staff.

Wow, how to even begin what a wonderful adventure this vacation has been! My husband and I had been looking forward to this vacation for quite some time, but we're nervous becuase we were on a budget. We opted for the economy cabins that were "a bit rustic" as the girl who booked us explained. We didn't know what to expect from that explanation, but knew it was within our price range. When we arrived we were pleasently surprised of the condition of the room, clean, comfortable and in such an amazing location!!
Not only was the cabin to our liking, but the restaurant was great and had options that were well within our price range. The portions of the food were huge and actually were enough for us to eat the leftovers for another meal. The service was wonderful and we found the morning frontdesk girl to be more than helpful about suggesting what we could do in the area. She let us know about some of the hiking trails in the area and gave information about a free shuttle into the park. We did not have transportation, but any time we wanted to get a ride into the park, all we had to do was call or ask the front desk and they were more than accomodating.
Overall, the entire stay in Denali park was a success. I would recomend this place to anyone who enjoys the outdoors and needs a clean and comfortable place to rest. Everything from the cabins, to the restaurant, to the fun and colorful staff, it completely made our trip to Alaska a memorable one!

I guess I expected a bit more. No running water in the room. Beds uncomfortable. Large gaps around windows and door...not good during bug season. Staff housing was behind our cabin and the staff kept running into our cabin and using cut throughs between the cabins. Advertised WiFi, but it didn't work. We left before our stay was over. We stayed at a nice RV motel up the road for the same price. Had a bathroom, comfy beds and free wifi

Hey, we stayed in one of the so called "nice cabins", and it was a nightmare!
There were two electrical outlets in the whole cabin, and each of them had numerous appliances hooked up to them, the bathroom door would not close(I mean that the cabin was so unlevel that the door really would not close), and forget about finding a parking spot on the side of that cliff.
Then there was the water truck that kept pulling up and dumping water in a tank next to the resturant, I don't even want to know were that water came from, or what it was being used for, but you can bet that we did not dine at the Salmon Bake!
