Stayed 2 nights. Maryanne was most accommodating and attentive. She provided wonderful advice on restaurants, hikes, travel, activities, etc. Breakfast was on our schedule. She served freshly baked lemon bread, a nice cheese and fruit tray, fresh juices, homemade yogurt, granola, and made us eggs with deer sausage. The woods setting with mountain views was perfect. This is a great place to stay!!

We met my son and daughter in law and their 2 children at Deneki Lakes so we could spend some time together in Denali. They have a B&B over their house with 2 rooms and a living area and kitchen. It couldn't have been a better set up for us. It was like we had our own place. She let us use some space in the refrigerator and we had the whole place to ourselves. It was probably one of the cleanest places we've ever stayed and we've been to some nice places. Marianne was our hostess and she was great. Every morning she came up and was so quiet we didn't even know she was there if we didn't see her. She always left some homemade cookies or cake for us and made us a wonderful breakfast every morning before we left. I was sick so the third day I stayed in and she said I could call if I needed her when I ran everyone else off so I could rest. The last day we had some wonderful omelets with mushrooms and sauce and they were delicious. Overall, we had a wonderful time there (even being sick) and hopefully will make it back again someday. Marianne was very informative and very sweet.
Also, it wasn't right in the little town with the hotels and shops so we didn't feel crowded. i wanted to roam around the grounds but since I was sick I didn't really get to do that but maybe next time. Denali and Healy about 15 min. from the house.

Room tip: This wasn't a hotel. It was a wonderful B&B

Marianne was a pleasure. Very quiet and relaxing after a long day in Denali park.
B&B is about 10 minutes from the park.
Breakfasts were varied and excellent!
We stayed in queen bed room, but there also is a room with two twins.
Take a walk on their well marked trail staring at the lumber pile. It goes past three lakes and takes 30 minutes round trip.
Ask Marianne how she ended up in Denali.

Fritz built the house himself, and it is exquisite in a spare European style. Our room had a loveseat and places to set 2 suitcases and plenty of shelves we would have used if we had been there longer than 2 nights. We went to Denali the day in between our 2 nights, and the B&B was just right (away from the commotion of the area immediately outside the park). The breakfast was excellent-- my favorite part was the lingonberry muffins fresh out of the oven. Marianne offered the remaining muffins to take with us, which we immediately accepted.

We stayed for 3 nights at Deneki Lakes B&B. It is a very nice B&B. The room was a bit small, but we could make use of a large sitting room next to our room. This sitting room has to be shared with the guests of 2 rooms.
The hosts are very hospitable. The breakfast is good also.
From the house there are beautiful views.
The house is near the entry of the Denali park.
There are also a few good restaurants nearby.
The only minus point is that it is rather expensive. However all the accommodations are expensive near Denali NP. However the lunch package did cost a bit too much.
