Loved the walks along the beach in spring months when it was very quiet. Really enjoyed sitting by church and eating lunch by sea.

The beach is very sandy and the cooling breeze means you can spend all day there.
Plenty of sun beds & brollies ranging from €5. Some have waiter service too and toilets accessible form various restaurants & the supermarket.
There are rocks in the water and most are visible but there are clear areas if you can be bothered to look for it. Also at the far end (to the left) is a shallower area for little ones. Rough bits too for bigger kids.
Plenty of water activities & restaurants for a break.

An unspoiled stretch of coastline which does not suffer from being over commercialised although some water sports are available and there are the usual beach facilities here and there.
During our stay of seven days the sun shone strongly each day and the breeze from the sea was very welcome but it detracted from the pleasure of those wishing to swim etc due to the roughness of the water as well as making sun burn a distinct probability.

Unfortunately there are a lot of rocks in this beach and it was sometimes difficult to get into the water to get out of it. But in General it was ok. You have to pay around 8 euros for the Umbrella and seats.

Not much of a beach to look at or walk on the seaweed and stones spoil it and the ever so sharp lumps of rock in the sea will scratch you to bits,
The only saving is the two Lidos that are man made with sandy bottom and very popular with family with children.
The promenade is very neglected and we walked most of it in the time we were there even the local people catch the bus in to the city and town .
