What a truly lovely destination! It is quiet and unspoilt and totally a place to relax and unwind. For visitors to the area who wish to explore there are many places of interest. However, most will require a good deal of travelling time so formal excursions or car hire are a must. The beaches which are stunning offer a delightful haven for those who don't wish to go far. The Olympia Riviera Thalasso is a lovely hotel and rated 5* but despite obvious efforts in a few areas it falls a little short. However, I would still highly recommend it. The staff are beyond helpful!! Nothing is too much trouble for them and the management team are very proactive with frequent visits to oversea daily running. They all work very hard indeed and go out of their way to provide excellent service for their guests. The main restuarant offers a good standard of food with lots of variety and different themed evenings available to diners. But for a change do visit the Sea Dunes a la carte restaurant ... the food is just simply wonderful!! Book a table for the evening... the sunsets are absolutely stunning!! There is evening entertaining provided for guests which is very good, and the team work hard to provide a good mix. Not sure that Toto the clown is everyones cup of tea though!!
This has been a really good holiday despite couple of negatives they have seriously been outwayed by all the pluses!! Go and check it out...... don't think you'll be disappointed!!

One week stay just completed and was completely blown away by this hotel, quite often 5 stars abroad doesn't match up to our standard in the uk, but this one is the exception. We did manage to get an upgrade to all inclusive at a premium rate which did save us a lot of cash as it is not a cheap hotel.
Everything form the reception on arrival, the spacious sea view rooms, restaurant food at all meal times and attentive staff, to the waiters of an evening were all top notch!!
The hotel is quite remote but there is a small village about 15 mins walk away and kilometres of beach to walk along, cycles to hire, tennis and archery if you want to get active. The spa and gym are very luxurious but the treatments expensive compared to other hotels we have stayed at. There are water sports on the beach but are payable locally.
Slight faults we mentioned to the restaurant manager were the odd gentlemen or so who didn't adhere to the dress code of long trousers and collared shirts for evening dinner, but as he said, it is at this time a recommendation and not compulsory!!!
The towels on the beds by the infinity pool can only be saved for 1 and a 1/2 hours in the morning before being removed so be warned, elsewhere by the pools there is no problem getting a bed any time.
Evening entertainment is at the best ordinary , but something is better than nothing.
Excursions to Olympia with Thompson was very good but 50Euros for a 45 min return bus ride a bit ott as this does not include the entrance to the site and museum .

Room Tip: All rooms have a sea view but some are better than others, high floors are best.

The hotel was very clean and staff always tried to be helpful. Lovely location and plenty of pools to choose from. Only downside was the 'towel on sunbed' scenario at stupid o'clock. To be fair to the hotel they were trying to address this during our stay. It may no longer be a problem.
Food was good with plenty of choice. So pleased we were all inclusive, otherwise it would have been extremely expensive.
This was a holiday for pure relaxation not to site see, although trips were available as was car hire.

Had a wonderful holiday and would return here but quite isolated. Hired a car which was great and roads are generally not too busy, but this is not a " tourist" area so apart from finding a few nice beaches there was not a great deal to see. Roads are not UK standard so getting anywhere takes longer. The food was great, lots of choice, and Georgio's cooking was just amazing. The staff are all very helpful but what stands out is the management - managers always on " the shop floor" and available to chat or resolve any problems. We had a sea view which was lovely and as other reviewers have mentioned the sunsets are amazing. One slight negative was the bed - yes it was a king size, and the room was spacious but the mattress was VERY hard. There is bar service by the pools and on the beach which is always a plus and the staff work hard to ensure that sunbeds are used fairly. The a la Carte restaurant was lovely - one visit per stay for all inclusive guests but pricey if you had to pay up front.

All inclusive is a must or very expensive. Staff were wonderful. Be prepared that is very isolated but if you just want to chill it is a must. Would return in an instant. The views were wonderful especially the sunsets.
