This a wonderful eating pub just off the King Harry Ferry on the Roseland Peninsula. A vast menu catering for any tastes - the fish stupendous. Accommodating staff and a beautifully quiet pub, no music, no tv - a great atmosphere.

We had lunch here for the first time in 3 years, what a pleasant surprise, landlady Lyndsey is the epitome of what mine host should be, cheerful and helpful and the food was excellent, one of the best lunches we have had anywhere without it costing a fortune. Can't praise this hostelry highly enough and would recommend everyone to try it.

Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and was very surprised by the availability of quality food. What lovely staff and the food( crayfish risotto , prawn sandwich and butter squash risotto ) made the Roseland inn such an enjoyable find. My 1 year old loved his sandwhich and pooch was made to feel very welcome by the locals:)as the food is truly enjoyable I highly recommend this pub to everyone that would like a little bit more than the traditional pub scampi and chips.
Thank you

Having seen the fortunes of this pub rise and fall with different owners it would now appear that things are returning to the "good old days"
Two visits in the past two weeks have been consistently good .
Everything you want from a warm and friendly greeting when you arrive to, jovial atmosphere, professional ,efficient and prompt service throughout our visits and of course the main thing -excellent food at affordable prices.
Caution-as the word spreads about how good this Pub has now become ,booking is advisable

We visited for farthers day, I booked my tabel for 1pm and when we arrived early we were welcomed and shown to our table no problem.
The menu is quite limited but there are always specials available.
The sunday lunch was delicious and we all had different desserts which were equally tasty.
It gets very busy and you have to order at the very small bar.
Parking is available but limited
