We have visited this restaurant 4 times now - twice in June, and twice in August. It was good in June but we found it even better on our recent trip - if I tell you we went there on our "last night" you will understand that we rated it highly. I am pleased to see that the place is growing in popularity, and at times it was clear that the staff were under pressure. However, all were very pleasant, worked very hard, and the food was excellent. I asked for something that was not on the menu and was delighted with the result.

The food, when it finally arrived was very good, the service however was quite poor. The owners son who works as one of the two waiters seems to spend the majority of his time swanning around trying to appear important whilst the other waiter is running round like his pants are on fire. Won't be going back.

Located off the main road through (road oppersite the Cuba bar) this resturant is apparently new this year which shows in how fresh the place looks compared to many others in town.
Very friendly staff who were at pains to explain that of we wanted something different or not shown on the menu to just say and they would do their best to do it!
Stuck to traditional Greek with Humus & stuffed vine leaves to start which were both excellent.
Followed by grilled sea bream, I was going to have sea bass but the waiter explained that the whilst bream was fresh the bass offered locally was frozen. In any event it was the right choice as the sea bream was excellent and grilled to perfection.
Prices were a bit higher that on the busy resturant laden main road total bill including a small carafe of Rose (pretty rough as most local wine is, suggest avoiding it!) and a small bottle of water was 36 euros so I estimat about 20% higher that most places in town for a similar meal. Not too fussed about this though the quality of food was excellent as was the service and setting.
I really hope this resturant makes it through this first year OK in what are tough times.
Certainly worth seeking out if you are staying in Alykanas and want good food.

The restaurant is a little out of the way, down the road to the beach but it is well worth the visit. We ate here twice during our stay in Alykanas and both times we had a beautiful meal. The owner, the village priest, is very friendly and makes everyone feel so welcome. I had the meat balls and my husband thought the baked lamb kleftico was delicious. It's also worth trying some of the local rose wine as it's very reasonably priced. Definitely give this reastaurant a go.

Walked past this little gem a few times before we decided to give it a try. Wish we had tried it sooner as the food and service were outstanding. I had the special which was stuffed sole and was delicous. The portion size was humungas so sadly I could not finish it all. Husband had the lamb served with oven roasted veggies and our daughter had the greek salad. Again ample portions and tasty tasty. We had an issue with the sun beating down on us but they moved the tables for us until we were comfortable. They even bought us out a free dessert with our bill. They were really friendly, chatty and genuine people. Give them your support you won't regret it. They are on a par with Vrasakis and Matalena's. Good Greek cuisine and great hospitality.
