This premier Inn was faultless! the staff at reception were friendly and funny, as were the cleaning staff.
The room was spotless! You need a car...Asda is a 5 minute drive away, Truro is just a short drive too, as was falmouth. If you like secluded little coves, go to Feok, it's lovely. All in all, We give this hotel 10/10. we went for just a short break, and I cant wait to go again!

Loads of parking, friendly helpful staff, clean large rooms. Food and drink available at the pub next door. Close to Truro and Falmouth. Great value for money. Would highly recommend at family's and couples.

A long weekend was made a relaxing and pleasant experience by the friendly and efficient staff. Room was good, clean and quiet. Working or reading lights in the room could be improved. The restaurant is what you expect from this type of hotel - not haute cuisine, but tasty, well presented and good value. The situation at Carnon Downs gives easy access to north or south coasts and to Truro.

Room Tip: Looking South on the first floor is peaceful, quiet and with countryside views.

I don't know how they do it: all the staff were, without exception, friendly, cheerful and efficient - as always. With a Premier Inn you know what to expect: the aforementioned great staff, clean and comfortable rooms, and good food.

The only criticisms I would make about the room are perhaps personal preferences; I find the LED lighting rather cold - but I know that that won't change due to cost and energy efficiency; and I would like the two beds in a twin room to be the same size, so one of us doesn't have to end up feeling we got the short straw.

The breakfast was better than usual. There was none of that drying out food under hot lights; all the cooked food was cooked to order, and very good it was too. The menu for the evening meal was rather decimated due to the horse meat scandal: all burgers and the lasagne were not available. I was very impressed with the wines: all very good, and at surprisingly good prices.

All in all, I would say that although it is difficult to improve the basic Premier Inn package, the Truro branch is the best one I have stayed in. Although they call it Truro Premier Inn, it is very convenient for Falmouth as well.

Room Tip: The back of the new wing is very quiet.

located on edge Truro perfectly suited for visiting the neighbouring area
excellent room/accommodation, staff very helpful and imnorfmative room made up everyday of our stay and clean towels provided every day, very quiet location and good food/restaurant adjoining so you can have a drink and not worry about driving
never tried the breakfast as not a breakfast person but good choice of evening meals at reasonable money,
well worth using and would certainly use this venue again

Room Tip: some rooms overlook carpark i dont know if these are any noisier than ones overlooking fields

I have stayed here twice now. I went here just before my uni interview. The view is absolutely amazing, especially in the morning, it is off set to any traffic and is in a peaceful area. We were greeted with friendy staff who move us straight away (we were given a ground floor which we didnt want) and very accommodating. The dinner was beautiful! The restaurant is very nice, it is a few minutes away from places however it is a lovely stop over hotel, definitely recommended.

This Premier Inn is situated just outside Truro on the road to Falmouth. It seems to be a popular business/leisure stop-over. The location is just off a main road but is very quiet. The standard of the rooms and the service exceeded the usual good standards associated with Premier Inns. The rooms were exceptionally clean and tidy and the staff helpful, cheerful and pleasant. The food offered in the restaurant was the usual formula fare offered by the Whitbread chain - safe with no surprises - oh well! There was a good selection of beers and lagers and the wine was better than average (at £5.60 for a large Sauvignon Blanc, "new" on the list - it should be good, and it was!). Most notably the restaurant had much more of a pleasant ambience than is usual for Premier Inns. Maybe because it was slightly smaller and because there were no "eat all you can" (yuk) meal deals that tend to attract large parties. (should I re-phrase that??) The decor and the layout was great and the youngish staff were much more professional in their manner e.g. I wasn't greeted with "Hi guys, are you alright then".
The location is great for the SW of England. Lovely Falmouth is only 10 minutes drive away and points farther afield such as Penzance or the northern coast are within easy reach. And the best pasties I have ever sampled (and I've had a few!) are to be found in Truro!!

Room Tip: The car park can get packed so you might like to consider a room on the opposite side to it
