Enjoyed sitting on the patio area at the rear of Kosmas and, despite being largely surrounded but not enclosed by buildings, saw an owl fly over during the meal.
Things didn't start as planned. Some technical communications issues between waiter and kitchen and the subsequent non-appearance of our garlic bread left us sat nursing drinks for some time.
Once the waiter realised what had happened he rectified the situation quickly but the garlic bread didn't arrive until after our main course. He had also let us order the local staka with my wife's pork steaks but was considerate enough to advise us that he would put it separately on the plate and not cover the meat as it's not to everybody's taste.
The food was plentiful and the Moussaka and Pork was good. The staka was ok - we ate most of it but I wouldn't be tempted to pay extra for it.
Then came the usual complimentary dessert and Raki and, despite the fact that we'd claimed to be too full to manage one dessert between us, a second, different dessert arrived soon afterwards. Both very nice.
