This is a classic Hotel located inside the old gardens of the Curia SPA.
The large gardens are very relaxing and are probably the best asset of the Hotel. There is a large lake with pedal bots, nice gardens areas, children's playground, tennis court and a reasonable (but not great) outdoor pool. The Hotel also provides bicycles for free for its guests.
The Hotel itself is quite old. Some areas appear to have been completely rebuilt, others extensively renovated and others were not renovated at all. This can make a difference in your experience, so make sure you get a new or a renovated room. My room was average sized and nicely decorated. Soundproofing was good and overall the stay was remarkably comfortable.
The common areas are also comfortable. Here and there you'll notice some signs of aging but in general this will not affect your stay.
Breakfast was good. The restaurant was OK for an Hotel restaurant. Service was efficient and friendly. WiFi was free and of good quality. The choice of TV channels was decent but not great.
I did not try the Hotel SPA, but anyway it looks more like a classic thermal SPA than a modern Hotel SPA.
Overall you notice some areas are a bit rundown and in need of remodeling (both indoors and outdoors) but there are definitively enough positive points to recommend the Hotel.
