A very nice place to eat, very cozy, serves food prepared on the hot springs, the swordfish is very tasty and the people are friendly.

Ate here our first night in Furnas. Fantastic salad, great fish and lovely pineapple for dessert. Ate here twice, it was so good. Great service too !

Visited this restaurant to taste the famous "cozido das furnas". Eventhough it was quite good, I expected from this wellknown restaurant. Service was slow, the starters were reasonable, but at the end of the day, I expected more from this place.

Although you are able to eat Cozido all over the Azores, Cozido in Furnas is of made in a special and traditional way. Cooked on the shores of Lake Furnas by vulcanic steam. (So visit this as well) We picked Miroma because of the reviews on Tripadvisor. The service was very good, portions we a bit on the large site but the flavor was excellent.

The restaurant is huge especially when you know that most other restaurants in the old buildings are small and have few seats. We went for a late lunch time and during a Portuguese football match so it was a bit quiet.

This was really an experience having the the Cozido—traditional meat and vegetables of the island cooked in volcanic steam vents. The portions were plentiful, the staff attentive, and the atmosphere felt authentic. Make sure to reserve in advance!
