We only stayed in the area for a week but eat twice at this restaurant. The food was excellent on both occasions the four of us had Monk fish and Shrimp Kebab and a Chicken Kebabi with one of their own sweets to follow. Service was first class with good family feel to the place. Great value for money with brilliant food and service.

This is our 2nd holiday in Sao Bras, and find Beira Serra to be the best restaurant we have tried, the food especially the monkfish and shrimp kebabs and also there home made desserts are fab, prices are very good and helpings are good, also the service, just one waitress, how she manages on her own I don't know but she's just brilliant, will be returning next year for more.

We have been staying in Sao Bras for 8 weeks and we visit this restaurant at least twice a week. They make a really good belly pork strips on the grill (entremeada) their dishes of the day are really good - so much so I commented to them that I have been coming to the Algarve since 1987 and their's were the best pork and clams I have ever had. Their house wines are very drinkable and cheap - if you like a little fizz - their Presao on tap is good. They have a reasonable selection of other wines - but quite frankly we do not bother. I quite like to put piri piri sauce on the belly pork. My wife thinks their Lamb chops are just about the best in the area. They give generous portions - we have never gone away hungry. Their Duck Rice, which we have had on Sunday lunchtime is very good - we ordered it for my wife's birthday and we had a party of 10 - they all enjoyed it. It gets very busy about 8.00/8.30 and so you can then be in for a long wait. Cost about €12 - 15 pp including house wine. This isn't a sophisticated resaurant and does not try to be. It is honest food at a more than honest price. I have marked it high on special occasions as they have a number of birthdays (including my wife's) and they serve people well.
