All of us all had different meals ranging from grilled tuna steak to lamb cutlets, pork tenderloin even chicken nuggets for the kids and all were very nice, The staff are friendly and they don't try and rush you out as soon as you have finished your meal they come round with madeira wine for you free of charge

Eat here twice in 5 days, very nice. The staff were very attentive, even when I didn't like a dish they offered me a free pudding! Live traditional music was played on the tue and very enjoyable

Ate here on the second night of our holiday and found the food to be good and reasonably priced however, we felt uncomfortable because of the attitude of the staff. I guess not everyone can be happy in their work but practically the entire staff gave off the impression that they were really putting themselves out for us. The evening was rescued a little towards the end when a gentleman waiter had a chat with us & offered us a local drink..at last, someone who seemed happy to be there !! We did try again towards the end of our holiday (only because they were playing a football match we were interested in) but still the quiet depressing air had us rushing out within the hour !

The staff was very friendly and serviceminded. The food did not live up to our expectations. The squidkebab was too small, and the prawns on it was small, dry and tasteless. The tournedos, which was ordered medium, was served well done, and was about 1 centimeter high, which is not a normal standard for a tournedos. Not much value for money.

This is my favourite place to eat in Falesia! It is a traditional styled Portugeuse restaurant with some tiling on the walls. There is a large tank full of crabs from which you can select your own and they cook it fresh. There is also a large tank of lobsters & crayfish where again you can pick yours. There is a vast menu of fish and seafood including the local Cataplana (a fish stew for two people served in a copper pan with a lid) which is delicious but does take some time to eat. Also, one of my favs is their seafood spaghetti which is full of large prawns and babyclams and is very tasty. The fish kebabs are very good too. Also on the menu is steak, chops and other dishes if you don't want fish and the wine list is very extensive too. The greeting is warm, the staff are helpful and efficient and the place is children friendly too. A lot of the locals eat there and that is always a good sign. It is not overpriced and also has a huge TV screen in one of the rooms (there are 3 seating areas to choose from..four if you count the gardens which they use in the summer) where anyone hung up on football or golf can get a brilliant view! I have lost count of how many times we have eaten here now but it never disappoints! Highly recommend!
