To anyone looking for a place to stay don't go past this little Gem!
The owners of this B&B are warm ,friendly and caring. The accommodation is clean, comfortable and the place is situated close to a beautiful beach.the house has style and allot of character. Pippa makes the best breakfast and she makes you feel at home.Steve was kind and very friendly and has a wealth of knowledge of all the best places to visit in and around the area .This is not a run of the mill B&B and once you have stayed here you will return just as we have.We cant wait to come back and I'm sure you would feel the same.....

Funky place to stay at! Very colourful and with a lot of character. Pipa and her family are amazing hosts and they made sure we were well catered for. Breakfast is great, with flexible options when it comes to times. Rooms are greatly decorated with a lot of colours! You'll never forget them :). My partner and I loved the place and hope to come back at some point! We found the place through airbnb.

My daughter and I (and our two dogs) have stayed with Steve and Pippa many times over the years. We have stayed mainly in their fantastic family room in the loft, but also in the double rooms downstairs. The house is warm and friendly, a proper family home. It has an usual charming style, decorated with rainbow colours. It is clean and tidy and quite easily one of the nicest places to stay in Gower. I'd happily recommend this b&b to anyone who wants a pleasant experience right next to one of the best beaches in Gower.

Firstly, thank you guys at Western house for making mine and my friends first visit to Gower such an enjoyable experience! Couldn't of asked for a better weekend, with the sun, surf and a lovely stay at your b&b. We felt welcomed and almost a part of the family!

The loft bedroom was incredible! A colourful, spacious room with the best view I've ever seen from a bedroom. Breakfast was incredible too cooked by the eldest daughter of the family, served at our own time (as late as possible!) in the morning.

The b&b is perfectly situated, it is only around a 15 minute walk to the beach and only 2 minutes to the pub!

Any problems or questions me or my friend had, Steve or Pippa were willing to help us out, for example sorting us out with wetsuits for out first time surfing, and ideas for where to eat which was amazing for anyone reading this, The King Arthur in Reynoldston.

To summarize, a perfect getaway for a chilled, welcomed stay in one of the most beautiful places on earth. You'd be silly not to visit (especially with a nights stay with the best breakfast being only £60!)

Keep up the good work guys!
Rhi & Chlo x

My girlfriend and I decided to escape the stress of the city last weekend, and decided to visit the Gower after Rhossili Bay receiving an award for the best beach in the UK. We arrived on the Saturday morning around 10 am and Steve and Pippa (the hosts) were very friendly and welcoming. Our room was fantastic, the decor was quirky along with the room and ensuite being very clean and hygienic. On the saturday evening we went to the local pub, which was only a minute walk up the road. It too had a friendly atmosphere and the locals were pleasant. The breakfast was very tasty and just what I expected for the price we paid. The hosts were locals to Llangenith and gave us a good insight into the different walks and places to visit around the area.
Will defiantly be coming here again, thank you for the lovely hospitality!

We stayed for a night on a weekend away, and felt much more at home here than the place we stayed at the night before, which was a bit too sterile for us. Western House has personality and a very chilled out vibe, which no doubt reflects its interesting, well-travelled, and friendly hosts, who welcome you into their home.

We had no real expectations going here, and were not bothered whether our hosts were there to greet us, or not. Our needs were simple: to have a comfy bed for the night, close enough to easily access the beach. When we arrived, Steve and Pippa were both there to greet us, and we were pleasantly surprised by the ‘home-from-home’ feel of this place. It is full of character - from its quirky décor, to its interesting books.

On a cold March morning, we were served a lovely fry up, next to a small open fire, which added to the homely, and very cosy atmosphere.

We were very relaxed here, and would definitely stay again
