We really enjoyed our two night stay at Escarpment. The owners went out of their way to make our stay very enjoyable and comfortable. The cinema experience was great. We loved the fire and spa in our room. Wouldn't hesitate to return for another visit.

What a fabulous stay we had! Taking advantage of the Winter Romance Package turned out to be the best getaway we have done.
The room was very private and the surrounds were idyllic. Breakfast, the picnic lunch and the tiffin dinners were delightful and the massage, spa and in-house movie lounge were a special treat.
We had plenty of time to explore the Tambourine Mountain area and what a beautiful place it is - great wine and food, beautiful views and lots to see and visit at your own pace.
Carolynne and Gary were ideal hosts. From initial booking through to our departure they couldn't do enough for us. We definitely plan to return.

My husband and I stayed at The Escarpment to celebrate his 40th birthday, we totally enjoyed everything they had to offer. Apart from our noisy neighbours next door we had complete tranquility. Breakfast was beautiful and scrumptious, the cinema was excellent and there was nothing like sitting back in our courtyard with a bottle of wine watching the sun go down. Very friendly service from our hosts and will definitely be back for another time out weekend away.

I recently surprised my partner with a night at the Escarpment, and we were both blown away by how amazing it was! From the moment we drove through the gates and saw the beautiful and tranquil gardens we relaxed. We were greeted by Gary who went out of his way to accommodate us and give plenty of options for places to go for lunch, wineries, walks...
Our room was modern but cosy, with a gorgeous 4 poster bed, deep spa, kitchentte, private balcony and log fire (with plenty of wood). There were plenty of little touches as well, like candles, a mini bar, fluffy robes and a DVD library.
We also took advantage of the in-house dining which was amazing. Dinner was delivered to our door in 'tiffins', which kept the food lovely and hot and incredibly delicious. With the fire going, a bottle of wine, and a great movie, we were in heaven!
Breakfast the next morning exceeded all expectations, with a great choice of meal on top of a buffet with fruit and cereals etc. It was the best breakfast I've had in a long time!
Overall this was the perfect retreat, and we both can't wait to get back here. It was cosy, romantic, tranquil and private, with plenty to do on the mountain if you decide to venture out.

My partner and I couldn't have wished for a better place to stay in the Mt Tamborine region than The Escarpment. Driving in gave a very tranquil first impression of the property and Gary and Carolynne made us feel so welcome with a glass of bubbles a lot of suggestions on things to help us enjoy our visit to the area. The rooms were simply amazing with huge ceilings, a very comfortable bed and a beautiful spa in the bathroom with a secluded view to the rainforest. Our stay also included a lovely choice of breakfast. Highly recommended for a getaway to this gorgeous region The Escarpment exceeded our expectations by a long way.
