Up a set of steps overlooking the harbour.
It was busy when we arrived so we bagged a table near the front and before all that long people were practically queuing to get in.
The owner, Yannis, had his work cut out (his wife had a bad back, hope she's better now) and was charming with very good English and helpful advice. We had a nice plate of hummous, some good horta, wonderful stuffed peppers and tomatoes, and a magnificent grilled sea bass. At one point I saw a young couple asking for kebabs in pitta done in a certain fashion and Yannis actually advised them that he did not make them in that way, but directed them to an adjacent place: you have to respect honesty and eagerness to please at that level.
Take a look at the brilliant mural covering the wall on the left of the restaurant's interior, depicting the scene as viewed from the harbour.
Complimentary ouzos finished the evening in style. We'll be back.
