The Kandouni is on the opposite side of the bay from the port. It's right next to the beach. We were greeted by friendly waiters and given the menu. For starters we had saganaki and some little cheese pies. I had been wanting to try the local speciality, frutalia which is an omelette containing country sausages and potatoes so I was pleased to be able to have it. It was tasty and substantial. The OH had sardines. There was a lot of typical greek food on the menu like briam, imam and big beans. All the food was very enjoyable. We had 1/2 kilo of red wine and the bill was €27. Very reasonable. The service was good and when the waiter told us England were playing their world cup match on the tv we went inside and sat with them to watch the first half.
