Quiet, rural location but close enough to beaches and attractions. Next to a fantastic restaurant with some of the best home grown lamb I have outside Scotland. House was clean and enjoyed the 6 days we were there.
However it is overpriced for what it is. It comes across an unfinished DIY project. There are wires hanging out the wall waiting on light fittings. Not necessarily dangerous, just untidy. Mosquito netting on the windows is tacked up with drawing pins. Automatic washing machine is old and no longer automatic (you can't leave running as it never ends a cycle). Lovely bathroom up stairs but the shower head was at a height that was only good for the kids. We ended up using the one in the utility room. I don't want to be left responsible for making sure the pool has sufficient chemicals in it. Patio furniture made of old wooden pallets and cardboard (I see what they were trying to do but t didn't work). The list goes on but most if could be solved if they just tidied up.
If it was priced and marketed differently it wouldn't have been such an issue. But it was not and it left me feeling a bit ripped of.
