Villa Tonini is a fantastic find. We were two families, each of two adults and two teenagers. We spent a week here, after a first week further to the south near Premantura. The week at Villa Tonini, however was the best. The property itself was absolutely stunning having been completed to the highest of standards. Plenty of room both inside and out, a great swimming pool and a pool (snooker not swimming) room which was well used! We spent days in the pool and evenings on the terrace watching the sun go down. All rooms had air conditioning, which was good as temperatures during our stay were between 35 and 40 degrees! Nearby was a great restaurant called the Borgonja in the lovely settlement of Visnjan- just 5 minutes away. The bigger settlement of Porec is lovely and the mountain village of Grosjan is unmissable - all Medieval streets will artist shops and beautiful cafe- bars with stunning views. From this great villa you can easily visit the south of Istria (Pula, etc) and the north, up to the Italian and Slovenian borders. All in all a great location and easy to get to numerous of Istria beaches. Whilst mostly stone (not sand) don't let this put you off. Our children spent hours rock pooling, swimming and sun bathing. Last, but not least, the property's owners Suzanna and Sandy were just great. Always helpful and going that extra mile to ensure our enjoyment and relaxation. Thanks so much to you both for making our holiday in your beautiful villa exceptional. We fully recommend it and hope to be back soon. Andy, Penny, Sasha, Willow, Martin, Helen, Chloe and Amelia.
