We stayed for two weeks in late April early May, partly to walk on the extensive beach promenade following an operation.
Both the apartment itself and the communal area were very clean and secure. The apartment was extremely large with wardrobes and lots of drawer space in all four bedrooms – including masses of coat hangers. The kitchen was equipped with enough crockery, cutlery and glasses to hold a banquet and the dining area and lounge was very comfortable. Being in the front line and on the 13th floor the L shaped balcony had marvellous views overlooking the promenade and beach, although it would be a little cosy if you had eight people staying.
Playa Gandia, although touristy, is very Spanish, it has the most incredible family friendly beach stretching for over one and a half kilometres and over a hundred metres deep with volley ball pitches including post and nets, outdoor gym and children’s play/adventure equipment as well as quieter areas – all free - if you do not know it look it up on Goggle.
A small amount of Spanish – and that is all we have – is very useful both while in the apartment and in the Playa itself.
Lara was very helpful, there was a major problem with the hot water boiler when we arrived but it was fixed that day.
We would definitely recommend Gandia Playa and the apartment and hope you enjoy your stay there as much as we did.
